Hi! My name is Angie Zachman! I have been a nurse for 22 quick years! I am a parishioner at SCOS along with my husband Curtis, our 4 daughters and one little fur baby. I enjoy golfing, traveling & spending time with friends and family. This will be my 5 th year as the School Nurse at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School. This is an exciting year of growth and I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of this school and community. The Basics! MY History! I graduated from Ft. Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Following college, I was a Medical/Surgical nurse at Hays Medical Center. After moving to Wichita in 1998, I worked in various roles as a Clinic Manager, Nephrology Nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialist with Renal Care Group and Fresenius Medical Care. MY Roles and Responsibilities! My primary role as the School Nurse is to be available to students, staff and parents for any assistance or care needed during the school day. I want to be the eyes and ears for parents when their kiddos are at school. Communication from parents is always appreciated and welcomed! Another role is to assist in maintaining a safe environment. My responsibilities include monitoring vaccination compliance, communicable diseases potential and chronic illness management. CONTACT ME! The Basics!
