The 12 men walked into the new land. It was so beautiful!

The men saw yummy food but they also saw very BIG (reach high) people.

The 12 men went back to the camp.

Let’s pretend to walk to back to the camp with the 12 men.

TEN (show 10 fingers) of the men were very scared (make scared face).

Can you show me a scared face, too?

(Everyone makes scared face.)

The men were scared because the people in the land were SO BIG (reach high)

and SO STRONG (show muscles)!

Let me see you show your muscles, like the strong people in the land.

(Everyone shows muscles.)

But there were TWO (show 2 fingers) men who were not scared (shake head “no”).

Can you show two fingers?

(Everyone holds up 2 fingers.)

Their names were Caleb (show 1st finger) & Joshua (show 2nd finger). They told all

the people, (shake head “no”) “Do NOT be scared! God (point up) is with us.”

God was with Caleb & Joshua, even when it was scary.

When you are scared, you God is with you, too!
