Light Painting
Brief Introduction
Light painting, or light drawing, is a photographic technique in
which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while
taking a long exposure photograph.
Photographing conditions
Moving light source; Hold your phone steady
Suitable scenes
Light painting, light rail, etc.
PHOTOGRAPHING STEPS
Enter “Light Painting”.
Touch the icon to take a photo, observe the effect on the screen
and touch the icon after you are satisfied with the effect.

Clone
Brief Introduction
Clone is a kind of funny shooting mode. Clone the moving persons
and objects on the same scene through continuous shooting to
create innovative images.
Photographing conditions
Shoot the same scene; (hand-held) hold your phone steady
PHOTOGRAPHING STEPS
Select a scene to shoot and try to keep the background overlapped
Move the objects you want to clone and take 5 shots at most;
The system will automatically recognize the moving object and
perform image registration and combination.
On the editing interface, use a painting brush to smear the area you
want to display.

DNG
OPERATION STEPS
Choose the DNG format file in the storage directory;
Open the DNG file using Photoshop’s insert Camera Raw;
DNG file in the plug-in is converted into visible image on the basis of color.
Perform individual post-processing of each property such as image color;
Save the file as required format after adjustment, normally JPG format.

Focus Metering White Balance Shutter Speed ISO
Make the image clear through detecting the position of the object.
Auto Focus
Auto Focus is set as default when the camera is started. Auto Focus
can quickly and accurately determine the position of the object and
make the image clear.
Focus Lock
Purpose is to make sure the focus point of the object is consistent
during continuous shooting.
Commonly used scenes:
• Macro Photography
• High-speed continuous shooting
• Self-timer continuous shooting
Manual Focus
Purpose is to manually adjust the focus value to make the image of a
object from a specific distance clear.
Commonly used scenes:
• Macro Photography
• Transparent glass windows
• Dark light, Night scene, Starry sky, etc.
Focus
This shows the image taken.
(enlarged partially)
When shooting, observe the red peak value
to determine the focus point on the image.
DOF (Depth of field) Preview
During the process of manual focus, the most concentrated area of red peak values in the following
figure are clear focus points. It can help photographers to achieve more accurate focus.
Focus
Get accurate exposure through detecting the luminance of the
photographing scene. In different metering modes, the metering
range and scene adaptability are somewhat different.
Auto Metering
Auto Metering is set as default when the camera is started. It is a
kind of mode, which gives consideration to the overall image
luminance. In most scenes, it can help you get accurate exposure.
Metering Lock
Purpose is to make sure the exposure is consistent at the same
luminance during continuous shooting.
Commonly used scenes:
• Backlight or complicated light environment
• Long-term time-lapse photography
Metering
Backlight scenes with high contrast
Separate Metering Focus/metering separated)
Separate metering mode takes effect after separating from the focus frame. Perform separate
metering to the selected area only. And allow the area to quickly get accurate exposure.
Metering
Move the metering frame to make
the sunset get accurate exposure.
Metering
Exposure compensation
Based on separate metering, adjust the exposure compensation at
your will to change the image brightness/darkness.
Commonly used scenes:
Backlight or complicated light environment
Cloudy, Misty, Rainy and Snowy weather
The ceramics under the light is overexposed.
Metering
After metering, lower the exposure compensation.
Use exposure compensation
Under complicated light environment , you can adjust the exposure compensation to avoid underexposure or
overexposure when the exposure is not accurate; you can also adjust the exposure compensation to get
brighter or darker shooting effect when the exposure is reasonable.
Restore real colors of the object through detecting the light source of the scene.
Auto WB
Auto WB is set as default when the camera is started. In most
scenes, it can help you restore real colors of the object.
Preset WB
Compensate the light source by selecting
• Incandescent
• Fluorescent
• Daylight
• Cloudy
• Shadow
White Balance
When you select [Incandescent] to shoot,
the image will present cool colors.
Preset WB
Example: the color temperature of Incandescent lamp is about 3000K; the image taken under 3000K is inclined to
a reddish or orange color. The camera will eliminate some warm light under [Incandescent] mode to make the
image adapt to the visual habits of human eyes since the camera does not adapt to the uniqueness of human eyes.
When you select [Cloudy] to shoot,
the image will present warm colors.
White Balance
Skills
1. 1. If the preset WB is a low value, such as [Incandescent] , the camera will
eliminate some warm light to make the
image incline to cool or neutral colors.
On the contrary, in [Shadow] mode, the
camera will eliminate some cool light to
make the image incline to warm or
neutral colors.
2. Know about the work principle of White
Balance and skillfully use it. In the following figure, you can create
different photographing effects by
adjusting the preset WB.
Separate WB
After you have manually selected the color of some area on the image, the camera will carry out reverse
compensation according to the selected color to adjust the image colors. You can select different colors to offset
White Balance to get colorful image effects.
White Balance
Separate WB Lock Purpose: make sure the colors are consistent at the same luminance during continuous shooting.
Shutter speed is the length of time when the image sensor inside
the camera is exposed to light.
Shutter Speed
Principle & Skills
Fast shutter speeds can be used to shoot fast moving objects
or high-luminance scenes; while slow shutter speeds can be
used to shoot the scenes without enough light;
During the shooting process, shutter speed should be flexibly
adjusted with ISO to avoid image underexposure or
overexposure.
1/400s exposure time
Freeze the moving cars and persons.
Photo Examples
The variation of exposure time indicates different states of the shooting object.
2s exposure time
Record the track of moving vehicle lights.
Shutter Speed
What ISO denotes is how sensitive the image sensor is to the amount of light
present. The higher the ISO is, the more light the camera sensor absorbs.
ISO
Principle & Skills
See the following photo examples. The higher ISO you select,
the more noise it will generate. Selecting lower ISO can
guarantee better image quality, but you need reduce the shutter
speed (increase shooting time) to get reasonable exposure.
High ISO: 3200
Shutter speed: 1/500s
Photo Examples
Low ISO: 100
Shutter speed: 1/30s
