Proceeds from the events will benefit the Arts Obispo Mini Grants program. Where can I get tickets? Except for the FREE event in Mission Plaza on Saturday, Aug. 21, tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis at the door of each event. See schedule above for details and prices. Where do I park? All events will be in or close to downtown San Luis Obispo. Parking garages are located on Marsh Street (between Chorro and Morro streets) and Palm Street (also between Chorro and Morro streets). Street parking is available but is metered until 6pm on weekdays and Saturdays. Are the shows all ages? Thursday’s event is 18 and older. Friday’s event is 21 and older. Saturday in Mission plaza is an all ages event. Saturday night is 21 and older. Sunday’s event is all ages. Where can I buy T-shirts? T-shirts will be available at our offices (1010 Marsh St., SLO). You can also purchase one at any event during the showcase (8/19-8/22). Where can I get the CDs? CDs are free for the first 50 people at each event with a paid ticket. CDs can also be purchased at our offices (1010 Marsh St, SLO) for $5. What if I have a question? All told, we’ll have five separate shows at five different venues over four days—nearly 20 hours of live performances by the best local musicians and songwriters on the Central Coast. This year’s contest had a whopping 374 entries by 154 different acts comprised of hundreds of various musicians. Our team of judges spent countless hours listening to the entries and working to reach a consensus. It wasn’t easy, but they had fun. The judges were, like last year, amazed at the breadth of talent. During this series of events, the first, second, and third place awards will be given to the finalists. We invite you to see your friends and neighbors enjoy their moment in the limelight. Like last year, proceeds from the cover charge at the events at Downtown Brew, Frog and Peach, Native Lounge, and Steynberg Gallery will benefit Arts Obispo’s Mini Grant program, which provides small $500 grants to individual artists. What is NTMA? New Times Music Awards is a music competition that ends with awards and performances by the winning artists. Proceeds from the events will benefit the Arts Obispo Mini Grants program.

Where can I get tickets? Except for the FREE event in Mission Plaza on Saturday, Aug. 21, tickets are sold on a first-come,

first-served basis at the door of each event. See schedule above for details and prices.

Where do I park? All events will be in or close to downtown San Luis Obispo. Parking garages are located on Marsh Street (between Chorro and Morro streets) and Palm Street (also between Chorro and Morro streets). Street parking is available but is metered until 6pm on weekdays and Saturdays.
