HIP HOP AND CLASSICAL MUSIC COLLABORATION 7–8 p.m. BloomBars, 3222 11th St., NW NSO musicians Alexandra Osborne and Joel Fuller, violins; Mahoko Eguchi, viola; and Rachel Young, cello, participate in an artistic exchange with Peabody Award–winning hip hop artist Asheru and rising jazz/R&B vocalist Tamika Love Jones. DANCE AND MUSIC COLLABORATION 5:30–6:30 p.m. The Dance Institute of Washington, 3400 14th St., NW Students from the Dance Institute of Washington perform alongside NSO musicians Glenn Donnellan, violin; Ruth Wicker Schaaf, viola; David Teie, cello; and Jeffrey Weisner, bass. The performance is followed by a question and answer session. David and Alice Rubenstein are the Presenting Underwriters of the NSO.
