IPS offers counseling and academic enrichment to at-risk youth ages10 to 17.

Eligible youth must have experienced chronic truancy, multiple school suspensions or expulsion, arrest, or have run away from home.

NSCA’s Early Learning program provides Early Head Start and Head Start services to children and their families at 4 centers throughout eastern north Philadelphia. NSCA’s Early Learning program is a full immersion dual language (Spanish and English) program that prepares children between the ages of 4 months and 5 years old to succeed in school. NSCA Early Learning also offers extended day child care through CCIS. In NSCA Early Learning, children learn through play, engaging the world in hands on activities. Children also learn about nature and nutrition through culturally relevant gardening and cooking lessons.

The OST program offers both after-school and summer camp programs for youth in grades K-8 at Hunter, McKinley and Moffet Elementary Schools.

Students direct their own learning through Project Based Learning and participate in activities such as sports, dance, drumming, field trips, and gardening.

The Community Outreach program ensures that local residents are given a voice in the development of their neighborhood. Community Outreach also helps to engage neighbors to be active citizens of their community.

The Computer Lab features over twenty broadband capable computers and is available for public access. NSCA also offers classes and workshops such as GED courses.
