• Kiswahili for “He makes fly (into the skies)” • Design project to create a conceptual design for a
48-person lunar base• Provides a future vision for human space activity
and utilization of the Moon following NASA’s initial return to the Moon
• Purpose is to accelerate the commercial use of the Moon, in line with the provisions of the National Aeronautics and Space Act

• Arusha Pressurized Rover basic description:– Pressure vessel dimensions approximately: 4m
diameter, 12m length
– 20,000 kg mass
– Crew size: 2-12 depending on mission
– Maximum mission length: 15 days
– Maximum range: 300 km
