The accommodation at Farran Lee Holiday Cottages is on the
grounds of Lee Valley Golf Club.
Their self catering houses are available for long and short
rentals offering a home from home
experience. Each house has 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 7 guests,
linen and towels are also
provided along with televisions and wi-fi.
Student accommodation is available at UCC University Hall which
can cater for larger groups.
The River Lee Hotel, located in the heart of Cork City, will
cater for groups of any size looking for
a more luxurious stay.
The National Rowing Centre in Cork is the Head Office and
Operations Centre for Rowing in Ireland. The
centre is located 20 km west of Cork City on the southern shore
of Inniscarra lake, this lake is a
reservoir constructed in the mid 1950s to store water for the
nearly Inniscarra hydro electric generating
station.
Directions: From Cork Take N 22 west for 14 km at Srelane Cross
(Dan Sheahans Pub), travel for 6km to
NRC adjacent to Farran Wood entrance on right. From Macroom
travel east on N22 for 6 km, take left
and travel 10km to Rooves bridge then take right and travel 4 km
to Park entrance on left.
