     Do not rotate the reamer in the wrong direction other than specified in this manual.

    It may cause damage or accident.

     Do not allow power supply wiring to become damaged.  

    Wiring damage could result in mechanical malfunction and ignition.

     Do not insert finger or hand into nozzle insert shaft or any

    Use of unspecified nozzles could result in damage and accident.

     Turn off the power or air when changing ,instqalling and removing-the clamp roller.

    It becomes an important accident resulting in injury or death.

      Firmly fix Nozzle Cleaner to the stand.

    If Nozzle Cleaner is not fixed tightly, poor cleaning and other problems could occur.

     Remove any volatile liquid / oil that may accumulate on Nozzle- Cleaner. 

    Spatter could cause ignition and possible injury.

     Avoid spatters fall down on the air piping.

    The pipe may be melted and the compressed air can leak from the damaged part.

    Remove the spatter which covers Nozzle Cleaner periodically.

    Spatter build-up can casuse merchanical malfunction or ignition resulting in injury.

    3.1 INSTALLATION

    1. Just install where needed in the robot's reachable area. For dimensions of the install

      plate, please see attached "Guide for teaching"

    4. Use an oiler with the air supply pipe. If an oiler cannot be installed on the air route ,

      apply oil such as Spindle oil(♯60 or less) to the airmmotor directly once a month.

    5. Connect a hose to the spatter case and set a container to collect spatters.

    Hose and Hose Band are available as option.

    6. Connect to the air source.

    2. Prepare for 4pcs of M6 bolts to fix Nozzle Cleaner straight.

    3.5 Order for Teaching

    Cautions and Preparations Before Operations

    1. Be sure to turn off the air source in inserting the nozzles with bare hands.

    2. Confirm that the body is fastened firmly to the stand.

    3. Confirm that the nozzle's inner diameter and the reamer's outer diameter fit each other.

    4. Check the connection of the compressed air.

    5. After inserting the nozzle by hand, connect the air and the reamer revolved.

      Never touch the nozzle until stop the air supply.

    6. Be sure to assemble spatter case after teaching..

     

    Start of the Operation

    1. Insert the welding nozzle into the guide rollers.

    2. The reamer starts revolving as pushing down the cam for a switch by the nozzle.

    3. Insert the nozzle at the point 1-3mm upper from the contact point of the reamer, then pull up

    the nozzle.

    4. Stop the reamer revolving. Nozzle Cleaning completed.

    Points for Operation

    1. Set the nozzle at the center of the reamer at teaching.

    2. Standard movement speed of: Pressing down the nozzle is less than 1m/min.

    3. Either stop for a moment and/or move up a little and then back down for the better results.

    4. Do not insert the nozzle too deep.(Max. 1-3mm upper from the contact point of the nozzle/

    contact tip and the reamer)

            Tips for Maintenance

    1. Confirm the motion of the cam part of switch unit. In case of the motion is stiff,

    remove the spatters after confirming.   

    2. Confirm that the reamer is not damaged.

    3. Confirm that inside of theb reamer is not clogged with spatters or dusts.

    4. Confirm the inside of spatter case is clogged with spatters or not.In case of it is clogged,

    please remove.

    4.1 How to Change Spatter Case

    1. Turn off the air source.

    2. Remove the edge part of the top guide(NCAM02DH-TG)

    3. Remove the bolt of 4 pcs(M6*15) of the top cover(NCAM02DH-TC)

      (On that occasion, it does not matter whether the air pipe is assemled or not.

    4. Remove the air hose assembled to the spatter case.

    5. Remove the spatter case. (In case of the spatter remains, sometimes it can be

      difficult to remove it)

    6. Assemble the new spatter case after it is cleaned up.

    7. Assemble the Duct Hose ⇒ Assemble the Top Cover ⇒ Assemble the Top Guide⇒

      Turn on the Air Source

    4.0 MAINTENANCE

    4.2 How to Change Reamer

    1. Turn off the Air Source.

    2. Remove the edge parts of the top guide(NCAM02DH-TG).

    3. Remove the bolts (4pcs of M6*15) for the Top Cover.

      (On this occasion, it can not be problem with the air pipe assembled.)

    4. Pull out of the spatter case. In case An occasion, it can be difficult to pull out

    5. Remove the reamer's body by rotating counterclockwise with the pliers or equal itemes

      In case of the reamer spin around, fix the mounts of the reamer

    by inserting the wrench (W14) to the lower mount part of it, and rotate the uncounterclockwise.  

    6. Set the new reamer twisting clockwise and fasten as tight as possible.

      

    7. Assemble the Top Cover ⇒ Assemble the Top Guide ⇒ Turn on the air source.

    8. Insert the nozzle by the robot and confirm the reamer revolving by operating the switch lever.

    *  Be careful of injury. Do not change the reamer with bare hands, as it is sharp.

    *  Changing the reamer once in half a year is recommended even if the reamer is not damaged yet.

    4.4 How to Change Switch Unit

    1. Turn off the Electrical Power.

    2. Remove the both edge of Top Guide.(NCAM02DH-TG)

    3. Remove the Air Hose(#2~#5) assembled safety valve and mechanical valve.

     

    4. Remove the cap bolt (2pacs of M5*20 )assembled to side part.The body of Unit is removed.

     

    5. Assemble the New Switch Unit with the cap bolt(2 pcs of M5*20), and connect the Air Hose

      (#2~#5)numerical order.  (If it is not be connected numerical order, operation problems may occur.)

    6. Turn on the air source.

    7. Insert the switch cam manually with the nozzle, and confirm the reamer's rotation.

    (Be sure not to insert the nozzle with bare hands because it is dangerous)

    5.3 List of Available Nozzle

    NCAM-02DSM is designed for the straight nozzle with 20mm in its outer diameter and 16 mm in its

    inner diameter as standard model but also corresponds other types of nozzles.

    Please refer to the chart below and select proper nozzle type.

     

    ·  Nozzle Type: Straight (S-type)、Taper (T-type)、Taper (TL-type)、

    Setback Taper Nozzle (D-type)

    ·  Nozzle's outer Diameter (A): 20mm to 30 mm

    ·  Nozzle's outer Diamer(B): 15 mm to 28 mm

    ·  Nozzle's Inner Diameter : 12 mm to 19 mm

    ·   Pleae confirm that the diameter of Isolation Cylinder / Torch is the same

    (or less than + 1 mm)as the nozzle's diameter or thinner.

    ・ In case it is thicker than the nozzle's diameter, unless the length of the nozzle

    is less than 90 mm, standard model can be used.
