Theme for Today’s Service: “Believers Live with Christ Eternally”

Prayer Upon Entering Worship:Lord Jesus, in your grace and mercy you have used many of your servants to bring meto where I am today: parents, pastors, teachers, Sunday School teachers, spouses andChristian friends. Many of them have now gone on to live in glory with you in heaven. We praise your for the blessings you brought into our lives through them. With theirwords, actions, and personal influence they showed us your love and directed our eyesto you, our Savior. We thank you for rescuing them from sin and suffering and givingthem their eternal rest. May we show them honor by following in their footsteps, livingfor your glory until the very day we die. And finally grant us a blessed reunion one daytogether again in the halls of heaven.

The Season of End Times: The Church year comes to a close before we begin inAdvent (after Thanksgiving) once again with the life and works of Jesus. During theseason of End Times we focus on the truth that we live in the last days, days when weneed to be ready for our Savior to return at any time, when the world will no longerlisten to its Creator's teachings. But God preserves his Word for us even to the end, andwill see us through to our home in heaven.
