November Bulletin BoardsBuild a Print Rich Environment!

Ages 3-5We’re a Bunch of Thankful Turkeys! Cover your bulletin board with light-colored paper. Add a border, if desired. Help children trace their handprints on white paper. Provide paints, markers, or crayons for them to decorate the handprints as turkeys. Assist in writing things the children are thankful for on each finger. Offer scissors for children to cut out their turkeys. Attach the turkeys to the bulletin board and add the title, “We’re a Bunch of Thankful Turkeys!”

Ages 3-5Bedtime Bears Cover your bulletin board with light blue paper. Add a border, if desired. Take individual photos of the children with their eyes closed. Cut out the children’s faces, and attach the photos to the tops of teddy bear cutouts. (Teddy bear patterns are available as on Online Resource at funshineexpress.com.) Attach the bears to the bulletin board, along with star and moon cutouts. Add the title, “Bedtime Bears.”

Ages 0-3Fall Creations Cover the bulletin board in yellow-gold paper or fabric, and add a border of fall leaves. Cut brown burlap into squares. Provide paintbrushes and fall colors of paint. Invite the children to paint on the fabric. Let dry. Glue each burlap square to an orange construction paper square that is a little larger than the burlap. Display the artwork on the board with the caption “Fall Creations.”
