A time for conversation…. You are invited after Sunday worship TODAY to
the Fellowship Hall for coffee and conversation about living out God's call in our future ministry. Manuel Borbon will be with us to share information about the changing face of Gresham and the surrounding communities. Manuel is a trained ELCA Mission Developer and presently serves as developer for the Mid-Willamette Valley Latino Ministries in the Oregon Synod. Manuel, his wife Laura and their two children, live in Silverton, Oregon and serves Emmanuel Lutheran church. In his "spare time" Manuel is in his final term at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, looking forward to being an ordained pastor in the ELCA. He has a video, which you can view on our website — tlcgresham.com — where he shares his vision for cross cultural Lutheran congregations.
Building on what has been entrusted to us, he will share the changing face of Oregon and specifically East Multnomah County. In collaboration with Greg Hamilton, they have planned not just a presentation but also a conversation about our future ministries. Come and have a cup of coffee/tea or your preferred beverage and be part of the conversation!

A HUGE thank you to the congregation for making Pledge Sunday a success. So far we
have received 71 cards! If you need a pledge card, they can be found at all church
entrances. Pledge cards can be mailed to or dropped off at the office, or put in the
offering plate during worship services.
The wine raffle and basket auctions brought in $3,261 towards the kitchen/roof fund.
To all who supported us with ticket purchases or donated bottles of wine, thank you!
We also want to congratulate Monika Deitchman, Linde Eidenberg, Lyndell Dees and
Anna Kramer for winning the online auction baskets, as well as Pastor Jerry
Furgurson and Hillary Peterson for winning the silent auction baskets last Sunday!
Lastly, we would like to thank Pastor Glenn, Rachel Kramer, Gregg Hamilton, and
Alex Frank for helping us in oh so many ways.

Regarding Mini-Clinics... There are no mini-clinic's scheduled here at Trinity this fall/winter season. There was a change in leadership when the clinic ended in March for the 2018-2019
season, with the retirement of the coordinator, Connie Fort. Over the summer, Health Ministries and volunteers from the clinic had several
meetings with Compassion Connect, who offered to take on the leadership role. In our meetings, it was brought forward that the physicians had not committed to
coming this year, and the foot care people, who have been travelling from the west side of Portland, were also not available.
These services are a large part of what makes this a health clinic. Another draw to the clinic was the Sunday lunch at ZK, which is no longer available as
well. This was the opportunity for people to get a meal and then come to the clinic and the clothes closet.
There haven't been any further meetings with Compassion Connect scheduled, and we have a large, well organized clothes closet in our basement, which is a much needed service for the homeless community. With support from Health Ministries, it was decided we would do a trial run of having the clothes closet opened on Friday, November 15th from 11:00 to 1:00 - a time when ZK would be open and serving a meal.
If all goes well, this may become a monthly ministry, and we will be looking for additional volunteers to help in the future, so stay tuned!
Meanwhile, your donations of warm clothing, especially smaller men's jeans, men's and women's warm coats, gloves and socks are welcome and appreciated.
If you have any questions regarding the clothes closet, contact Lynn Stone at 971-400-4176. For questions regarding the mini-clinic, contact Linde Eidenberg at 503-473-2502.

You are invited to The Living Table! We are a community that meets every Wednesday to share a meal, join in prayer, and participate in activities that enrich
our lives. The evening is a contemporary expression of worship, for
everyone to participate in as they choose. When we gather at the table, it can be for whatever you need: communing, dining,
conversing, or resting your head. We empower our community to share ideas so we can
collaborate in the process of trying and experimenting. Even in our failures, we know the process will enrich our lives.
We invite you to learn more about this community by joining us on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm.
