goal This symposium aims to bring together a multidisciplinary team of plastic surgeons, hematopathologists, breast surgeons, oncologists, immunologists, and radiologists with experts from complementary disciplines to achieve an overall better understanding of the management of breast implant associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL). Recent advances in biologic and immunotherapy specific to recognized actionable targets in BIA-ALCL tumors as well as chemotherapy and radiation therapy in advanced disease will be highlighted. Special sessions on difficult and interesting cases as well as challenging reconstructive cases of the chest wall and metastasis will focus on best practices through discussion of challenging cases by a multidisciplinary panel of experts. Didactic lectures, panel discussions, and discussion of different cases will provide opportunities for the participants to address practical management questions and concerns with experts in the field and the course faculty. The conference will begin with a half day dedicated to patient education which focuses on the fundamentals of the disease and utilizes patient advocate experts.

Educational ObjectivesAfter attending the conference, participants should be able to• Utilize surgical techniques for surgical management of BIA-ALCL

chest wall tumors to improve patient outcomes (Knowledge, Competence, Performance, Patient Outcomes);

• Incorporate complex surgical techniques for reconstructing the breast and chest wall in the setting of adjuvant treatments (Knowledge, Competence, Performance);

• Advanced disease patients may be appropriate for combination chemotherapy regimens and targeted immune therapy (Knowledge, Competence, Performance);

• Utilize the information provided in the course to diagnose and surgically treat patients with BIA-ALCL (Knowledge, Competence, Performance, Patient Outcomes).
