This has been another busy month. In my last report I mentioned I would attend an annual lectureship at Nyanga with four other brothers. All of us who went saw how badly our brothers and sisters were hit with hunger. We organized a trip to go and distribute mealie meal (a corn meal staple). Due to the large number of people, we were unable to feed them all. We returned several more times to several places over the month and distributed 239 x 25kg bags of maize. People lifted their hands and thanked God for the relief maize. Some elderly people told me that sometimes they go three days without tasting a meal—so much that they end up eating wild fruits. We encouraged members of the church to hold on to Christ even though they are facing hard times. Please pray for our country. Thank you! - Wilson Siazilo, Namwianga Mission

MISSION UPDATE: ZAMBIA

Bob was the oldest of three, born to Irwin and Charliena Stohldrier. He grew up in St. Louis and graduated from Freed Hardeman College. Bob is survived by his wife, Mary; three children; four stepchildren; and brother and sister. He served as a minister, a teacher and a worship leader. His greatest delights were in studying and teaching the Word. Bob was a man devoted to God throughout his life.

Ray Young was born in Hooker, OK, to James and Mary Young. Raymond is survived by Lee, his wife of 67 years; son, Kyle and Darla Smith; son, Raymond and Ellen; sisters, Jewell and Roberta; and his granddaughters Allison and Rachel. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Eugene; and sister Wilma.
