Please join the Great Neck Community “Big Chal-lah Bake” on Thursday, November 10th at Chabad of Great Neck. Cost is $26/person to join. Proceeds go to Tomchei Shabbat (feeding the needy). Feauturing: Mix your own dough (ingredients will be supplied at the event). Everyone is invited to a seminar given by Abraham S. Mazloumi, Esq on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 8:00pm at Ohr Esther Synagogue. The average nurs-ing home cost is $148,000 a year. Home care for the elderly or disable is diff icult to obtain and expensive. This seminar will explain (A) how to deal with the diff icult Medicaid rules, (B) how to plan for the f ive-year look-back penalty period, (C) how to qualify for home care, (D) how you can get paid by the gov-ernment for providing home care for an elderly or diabled relative or friend.

Sisterhood updates a list of 6th-8th graders every school year. This list becomes very useful when plan-ning a Bar or Bat Mitzvah party. We would advise anyone having a party to please make an effort to invite all the boys and girls in their grade to avoid any child from being left out. He will pray and speak Friday night at Shaare Rachamim, on Shabbat day will pray at the early Minyan in Shaare Shalom and will speak in Early Minyan, Gym Minyan, Rabbi Ben Haim’s Minyan, and Ohr Esther for both Minyanim. He will have a shiur before Mincha at Rab-bi Ben Haim’s Minyan.
