Loy Krathong – Thai Water Festival The Parramatta River foreshore comes alive with

light, colour and energy showcasing enchanting

Thai dance performances, food from across

South East Asia and the sunset ritual of

launching candle-lit Krathongs on the river.

The night finishes with fireworks and a water

fountain display.

What the NDIS means for Recreation ServicesThe National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) has rolled out across much of metropolitan Sydney.

An increasing number of you will have had planning meetings and be receiving NDIS funding soon if

you aren’t already. You may be able to use this funding to pay for some of these activities. If you’re still

waiting for NDIS funding, don’t worry, we’d still love for you to come along to our events.

Due to the transition to the NDIS, the current Adult Recreation support services fees will also experience

a period of adjustment. This will result in a better quality Recreation service, greater flexibility and choice,

and most importantly, MORE EVENTS!

When you call to RSVP to an event, please let us know if you have a NDIS plan. This will help us greatly in

determining the correct service cost for you.
