I want to let residents know of

the upcoming changes to the

landscaping. Beginning No-

vember 2 we will begin the

process of removing grass in

many of the grassy areas. We

are doing this to help conserve

water. Don’t worry, we will be

replacing the grass with beauti-

ful ground cover & drought

tolerant plants. Work will

begin on the west side of the

community.

November is a month for giving. That’s why we want to mention a few special events where you can participate and give back to your community! We are hosting a Food Drive for all of November and part of December for The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank! Your donation of canned goods will help allevi-ate hunger in San Diego. Help make the world a better place and dig through your pantry and bring the following items before the end of the month: canned chicken, tuna, beans, cereal, rice, nuts, peanut butter, soup, fruit, vegetables!

It’s very nice to meet you! Woo! Pig Sooie! Go Razorbacks! Originally from Arkansas, I've traveled more than two thousand miles across the country and love every second in SUN-Diego. I am a Beautiful Southern Fiest/Jack Rus-sell blend. Aren’t I adorable?! Love me! Playtime is my favorite time! Warriors 4 Healing * Coronado Yoga & Wellness Ctr

Veterans, active duty military & family are encouraged to join Warriors

for Healing at the Coronado Yoga & Wellness Center, every Monday

from 1:00-2:00 p.m. for a stress-alleviating afternoon. This class helps

raise awareness and funds to support programs for veterans who suffer

from PTSD and/or depression and support them on their journey of self-

healing and empowerment. Through the science of Yoga, Warriors for

Healing is devoted to bringing Yoga science to veterans suffering as a

result of experiencing traumatic events in their lives. As a yoga commu-

nity, they have the ability to join forces around a shared purpose. Join

the Coronado Yoga & Wellness Center to create awareness about the healing powers of yoga and

meditation. COST: FREE (For Veterans, Active Duty Military and Family)

The Prado has teamed up with the Taste of NFL on

the Kick Hunger Challenge. Starting October 1,

2015 – February 7, 2016 enjoy the Kick Hunger

Menu, featuring the famous Spicy Calamari Fries

and a selection of wines. For every item ordered off

this menu, The Prado will donate $1 to The San Die-

go Food Bank. Each $1 donation provides meals for

5 people. For all you football fans, enter our raffle to

win a San Diego Charger Helmet signed by Hall of
