November 2015 –12 Directions To Your Transformational Highway!

Welcome to the Highway of Life.Welcome to the time of Scorpio! It’s no accident that Halloween (the time when the veil between the living and the dead is at it’s thinnest) falls in the time of Scorpio, with it’s deathly sting, and it’s no coincidence that the Tarot card ruled by Scorpio is death. The key word for Scorpio and Death is “transformation”. To transform we have to be willing to let go of all that we were to become all of who we are. Just like everything in life, it happens! And the only thing we really have a choice about is whether we react (re-enact) or respond. To react means we are coming from a learnt behaviour, our past patterning triggered, dropping us into our shadow, behaving unconsciously, not aware of our own free will. Respond means to be awake enough to choose. Are you prepared to go deep into your own darkness this November? To face yourself square on, so you can see exactly what you are dealing with? Embracing the opportunity to become the alchemist of your own soul, transforming your darkness into light?

Welcome to the Highway of Life.Or are you going to run from it? You know that if we try to run from our own shadow it does nothing but chase us down. We are going into the depth of Scorpio, whether we like it or not. This time of year gives us the opportunity to really get to the bottom of what isn’t working, why and how to be reborn. November is a journey into the depth of your being, a passage through your own internal underworld. It’s dark there, it’s hard to see, you have to use your in-tuition (tuition within) to feel your way through and eventually find the light at the end of the tunnel. I’ve been in that place so many times that I make my living being a guide through it, yes I am like the ferryman crossing the river Styx! So with that in mind I wanted to share with you a little astrological knowledge, as a map that you can pop in your pocket and read with your feelings to help guide you through. Narrated in my best Siri voice of course :)

Turn 1 – Starting route to the Transformational Finish Line:Start the engine and engage reverse:

• November 2nd – Mercury enters Scorpio When Mercury enters Scorpio communication gets internalized, if communication breakdowns are happening all around you, then use the time wisely to figure out what your own internal messaging system is saying – letting go of any fears of what anyone else thinks of you. Give yourself permission to be you, and be careful of paranoia and confusion which can easily creep in. Practice letting go.

• November 3rd – Jupiter opposite Chiron - Chiron in Pisces is a deeply spiritual journey, and a long term one that we have been going through for years. Jupiter is growth and growth can be full of pains. Chiron is the wounded healer, bringing up our karmic wound so we may eventually heal, this is a time to go inward and be gentle with you.

Turn 2 – Stop at the crossroads, take a good look around, watch for manholes:

November 3rd – Jupiter opposite Chiron 

Chiron in Pisces is a deeply spiritual journey, and a long term one at that . We have been going through for years and will continue to do so. Chiron first entered in 2010 and won’t leave until 2019, during this time there is a lot of exploration of our own karmic wounds and spiritual path. Jupiter is growth and growth can be full of pains, this type of growth is like a pulling and stretching from both ends at the same time, exasperating the wound, opening it up again, so we get to look inside again, and be reminded of what makes us. Chiron is the wounded healer, his wound never healed, everyday it opened up again, and Jupiter is exasperating this for us now. But eventually Chiron became adept at healing, for himself and others. The only reason our karmic wound is being opened is so that we see inside and learn to heal, this is a time to go inward and be gentle with you.

Turn 3) Going right? No go left! November 4th -  Jupiter quincunx Uranus 

A quincunx is quite an intense karmic link, and as Uranus is the revolutionary planet of shock and freedom there could be some seeminlgy quite sudden and uncontrollable events that change our direction. we thought we were on one path, and suddenly we are on another. A glitch in the matrix brings up our karmic story for the next level of healing. You may think oh no! But suspend judgment and then the magic can happen.

Turn 4) Ah see I said go left! Re-routing: Now just follow the coastal path. Nov 8 - Venus enters Libra.

Venus is the ruler of Libra, making it a sign who loves nothing more than harmony, after last week we could do with a bit of this energy, but be careful not to undo the learning of last week by compromising yourself too much and loosing track of your own destination.

Turn 5) Switch on your lights as the Sun sets, make sure they are working well as we descend down the cliff-side.

Nov 11 - New Moon in Scorpio 

This moon goes so deep that you might have just reached the depths of your very soul. So much inner processing only means one thing, that your transformational journey is happening, you are driving through it right now and what you find along the way are valued discoveries and treasures, always within, but never discovered, finally coming to light. Watch your dreams for signs on what you are driving past.

Turn 6) Put your car on automatic as you cruise along the beautiful breaking dawn of day. Nov 18- Neptune Direct in Pisces 

Expect beautiful realisations building from the time of the new moon and growing stronger around this period, beautiful releases, letting go, growing into the next level of our spiritual journey, feeling lighter, freer. Thelma and Louise eat your heart out!

Turn 7) Rev your engine as your prepare to climb the heights infront of you now: Nov 20- Mercury enters Sagittarius 

This shift helps us start to feel even lighter, after a pretty heavy start to the journey, we have worked through the sharp turns that hurt, the sudden gear changes, the stalling. We drove through the night and managed to turn the dark to light. Wahey! We are now motoring along within the company of others feeling good, loved, loving and supported on our ongoing journey.

Turn 8) Get ready to reach the top!Nov 22 - Sun enters Sagittarius  

The shift now really steps up a gear, no longer on our solitary journey, we’ve truly broken through and feel a whole lot lighter, brighter, a little bit stronger and ready and raring to go forward again.

As we start to move forward we might just get a little too cocky! A couple of little reminders to keep us awake and on track really are blessings in disguise, be thankful for being kept in line.

Turn 10) Pull up at an outdoor party and celebrate how far you have come:

Nov 25 - Full Moon in Gemini 

And now it’s time to really start to enjoying getting out there! Celebrating with the newness of all you have discovered within yourself (the new you) and outside of yourself companions, environments, there are lots of new people and places to discover, so much to learn and experience. The thirst for life returns, drink it all in.

And as the pace gathers once again we get a little reminder to stay on track and not get too carried away, a typical manifestation of this might be the mother of all hangovers after the massive party moon! On a more general note it’s a definite sobering up, checking that our dreams are firmly rooted in reality.

Turn 12) Arrived: The Transformational Finishing Line!  Nov 28 - Chiron Direct 

Finally! This month there’s been a lot of diving deep and coming up for air. Like a tightrope fine tuning our movement forward, getting a wobble whenever we relax a bit. With this last direct motion we motor on through. Instead of the deep sea diving, we now power-jet or even ski into the festive month ahead, maybe we can even start to walk on water! Water represents emotions, walking on them means getting on top of them, rather than being immersed by them. we must still feel them of course, and understand what they are telling us – hence the practice of astrology.
