As well, in a very moving ceremony, the vets from own congregation were honoured. FUEL Pastor Mark continues to lead the disciple-ship training prior to Sunday morning service and is also mentoring several co-op students throughout the week. Regular youth services are held on Friday nights, combined with var-ious activities. The highlight for FUEL this month was the Youth Retreat, held at the Mini Yo We Camp in Muskoka the weekend of November 21-23.

Women’s Ministries On Saturday, November 15, a number of the ladies enjoyed a day of shopping at Upper Canada Mall in Newmarket - always a good time of fun together. Next month (December 16), WM will be hosting a Christmas Potluck at the church...a good time to share in every-one’s Christmas baking!

Boys & Girls Club The BG’s had a great Hallelujah Party on October 31, with fun games and LOTS of treats! The BG club members are also partic-ipating in Operation Christmas Child - shar-ing God’s love with children through gift-filled shoe boxes.

Primetimers

When weather permits, the seniors still enjoy to get together on Mondays for a game of shuffleboard. Their Christmas Pot Blessing Luncheon is planned for Monday, December 1st. As usual, good home made goodies are enjoyed at this event!

Small Groups Most of the Small Group classes have con-cluded. However, the Wednesday night Bible Study on “Changes That Heal” is continuing. More classes and courses will be resuming in the New Year.

Simcoe County Women’s Conference On Saturday, November 1, Innisfil Community Church was the host facility for the “Unite, Ignite, Take Flight” Simcoe County Women’s Conference. The conference featured worship, special music, and three guest speakers. Approximately 130 ladies were in attendance.

Guest Speaker On Sunday, November 16, our guests were Rev. Peter & Sandra McIntosh. Peter serves as the Regional Missions Director of South East Asia. He oversees and empowers 105 Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada global

workers engaged in 13 nations from India to Japan. He is also responsible for training nationals and opening new fields. Peter and Sandra moved to Bangkok, Thailand in August of 2005. Sandra is the Director of The Impact School of Missions In Bangkok. ISM trains and mobilizes youth and young adults to intern alongside our PAOC global workers and other ministries. Before moving to Thailand, Peter was the Senior Pastor at Kennedy Road Taber-nacle in Brampton. His inspiring message, entitled “Transformers” challenged all of us to be ambassadors for Christ, taking every oppor-tunity to share our faith and help transform the lives of those who do not yet know Jesus.

Sermon Series at ICC Pastor Courtney and Pastor Mark have been continuing the sermon series on the themes of “Healing & Miracles, Second Coming, Salva-tion, and Baptism of The Holy Spirit.” We are thankful for “The Word of God” which enriches our daily lives. Beginning in January, Pastor Courtney has encouraged the entire ICC family to “take the challenge” - participating in a 28 day devotional. YOU can be part of this...call the church office to sign up! 705-436-1611.

BENEVOLENCE

The Clothing Depot

Thursday, November 27th, was the last free shopping night until the New Year. Every month, we have been distributing between 100-130 bags of clothing, linens, and footwear. This ministry has proven to be a tremendous blessing to families who struggle to adequately provide for their household through means of limited finances.

The Innisfil Food Bank

We are constantly amazed at the outpouring of support received for The Innisfil Food Bank. This past month donations from the Thanks-giving and Halloween Food Drives were well over 4500 pounds. Thanks to the wonderful teams of volunteers, we were able to have the food sorted and ready for restocking of the shelves. We are certain that within the next few weeks, as Christmas approaches, we will be receiving more donations! These major food drives are what we primarily draw from to serve the community throughout the year.

Reaching Out To The Community It is our desire to continue to “be a light” in our community. Many people drop by the church looking for assistance or asking for spiritual guidance. We try our best to take the time to pray with people, pass on helpful information, provide assistance where possible and offer words of encouragement. May God use ALL of us to show HIS love when the opportunities come our way.

1 Corinthians 16:14

“Let all that you do be done in love.”
