As the harvest season in New England comes to a close, remember that fruits and vegetables are healthy choices all year whether they are fresh, canned, frozen or dried.

At home, choose fruits canned in water or juice for less added sugar and canned vegetables with less added sodium. Look for frozen bulk packaging to save money per serving.
