Brisbane & Queensland, Australia

November 1st
-4th
:
This period features a Uranus-Pluto square on the 1st
. The Solar Ingress, New Moon, Full Moon,
and First Quarter maps all have Pluto angular over the forecast area. The Moon also triggers the
square by hard aspect on the same day and then on the 2nd
squares the Brisbane Solar Ingress
Midheaven. This should serve to localize the stormy effects of the square over the forecast
area. On the 2nd
, the Sun and Mercury make a sextile to Pluto. I find Pluto, for the most part to
be a cool or cold influence although more observation needs to be done. So besides the
storminess, we may have cooler conditions. Then on the 3rd
, Mars will square the June 1, 2011
Solar Eclipse degree, which was on the ascendant through central Queensland. The square from
Mars can be disruptive perhaps leading to windy conditions or increases in heat and dryness. So
temperatures may possibly swing back to the warmer side under this configuration.
November 6th
-10th
:
On the 6th
, we have the Sun conjunct Saturn, but none of the key charts places the Sun or
Saturn over the forecast area unless of course you consider the rising chart. On the 7th
, Jupiter
will make its retrograde station, which has been equated with rising temperatures and high
pressure. In the Solar Ingress chart, Jupiter is about 6 degrees offshorenot particularly close.
The same thing occurs in the New Moon chart, which is the current lunation. So it remains to be
seen how much of its effect will be felt over the forecast area. What is probably of more importance is the position of Mercury in the New Moon chart.
Mercury Ic is approaching the east coast of Australia by retrograde motion so that when
Mercury makes its parallel to Neptune and its sextile to Venus on the 8th
, and its trine to
Neptune on the 10th
, it will be only two degrees offshore. These aspects tend toward
increasing temperatures and humidity, and fair weather. Ive seen retrograde planets bring
weather influences from the opposite direction. So it will be interesting to see if a weather
influence moves toward the coast from the east.
November 11th
-14th
:
During this period, Mercury will turn direct on the 11
th
, the Sun will trine Jupiter on the 13
th
,and Neptune will turn direct on the 14
th. We saw that in the New Moon chart Mercury was just
two degrees off the Brisbane coast. We might see some increased wind velocities now as that is
one of Mercurys signature qualities. Mercury is also still trine Neptune. In the chart for
Mercurys direct station, Neptune Ic is placed over eastern Queensland. This position argues
increasing temperatures and humidity. By the 13th
, the Sun will trine Jupiter. The current
lunation is the First Quarter Moon, which places Jupiter Ic exactly over Brisbane as it receives
the Suns trine. This is known to equate with fair weather. Theres not a specific chart that

places Neptune over the forecast area as it turns direct. The closest one is the chart for
Mercurys direct station which placed Neptune Ic over eastern Queensland. This chart is recent
enough that it may still be an influence. If it is, then from the 14th
on we may see warmer,
moister air being pulled in over eastern Queensland.
November 15th
-18th
:Venus squares Uranus on the 15
thand conjoins Pluto on the 16
th. The Sun will ses-square
Uranus on the 16th
and semi-square Pluto on the 17th
. Mercury will parallel Neptune on the 17th
as well. The Solar Ingress places Uranus Dsc and Pluto Ic over central Queensland. Venus Ic is
also over the same area as it makes its aspects to Uranus and Pluto. These aspects are storm
breeders usually resulting in precipitation. The Moon will trigger the Venus-Uranus-Pluto
alignment on the 14th
over central Queensland modifying somewhat what was said in the
previous forecast. By the 15th
, the Moon will oppose the Solar Ingress ascendant. This argues
that the stormy conditions indicated over central Queensland will be drawn over the east coast.
The Full Moon and Last Quarter maps also place these planets over the forecast area. The Suns
aspects to Uranus and Pluto operate in the same maps.
November 19th
-21st
:
We have a few days of good aspects now. Mars sextiles Jupiter on the 20th
while Mercury
quincunxes Uranus. On the 21st
, Mercury sextiles Pluto. The Solar Ingress places the Mars-
Jupiter influence about 6 degrees offshore, as does the New Moon. But Pluto is over central
Queensland in the Solar Ingress and New Moon charts. This aspect argues fair weather over
that area now. The First Quarter map still has Jupiter right over Brisbane as it gets a sextile from
Mars, and the Lunar Eclipse chart has Mars Mc over eastern Queensland. The Lunar Eclipse also
has Pluto just offshore as it gets a sextile from Mercury. So there are charts that localize these
fair weather aspects over the forecast area.
November 22nd
-25th
:
We must turn our attention now to the Solar Ingress chart because transit Venus is now over
the longitude of Brisbane. In the days preceding this, Venus has been moving over eastern
Queensland. The influence of Venus by itself is to increase temperatures and humidity. On the
22nd
, as Venus transits over Brisbane, the Sun will make a semi-square to Venus. This is mildly
disruptive and may result in increasing warmth, humidity, and some showers. We also find the
Moon transiting the Solar Ingress Midheaven and thus localizing weather patterns over
Brisbane now. We find the New Moon chart also placing transit Venus now on the descendant
over Brisbane as well. A chart for the Moon opposition Venus also places them on the Mc/Ic
over eastern Queensland. By the 24
th
, Venus (now 2 degrees offshore) will sextile Saturn, whichis a fair weather aspect. Then on the 25
th, Venus (now 3 degrees offshore) will semi-square
Neptune. This is a bit unsettling and I dont think it will do much to upset the fair weather
shown by Venus sextile Saturn.
Moving a bit further west toward eastern and central Queensland, we see in the Solar Ingress,
the New Moon, and Last Quarter charts that Pluto is over these areas. Now on the 23rd
, the Sun
parallel Pluto is exact affecting these areas west of Brisbane. I usually equate Pluto with cool or
cold weather which may manifest there at this time, although this is still open to research. By
