Holiday Support for Families Each year, there are community
agencies that provide assistance to low income families during the
holiday season. If your family needs extra support this holiday,
please contact your child’s counsellor. McRoberts Wear – Orders due
November 13 The McRoberts Store is now open. You will be able to

Assessment Parent Session – November 15 Join us for the next parent
information evening about the new curriculum on November 15,
6:30-8:00 PM at MacNeill Secondary School.

Secondary Day – November 16 A variety of trade schools, colleges
and universities will have representatives at McRoberts for our
annual Post Secondary Day. The event is open to all grade 10-12
students and parents. Come join us in the front foyer from 2:30 –

Advisor. Public Forum: Drug Overdoses – November 16 The Richmond
School District is hosting a public forum on "DRUG OVERDOSES" on
Wednesday, November 16, 7:00 - 8:30 PM at Richmond Secondary
School. The forum will include an educational session on drugs,
such as fentanyl, in our community. A question and answer period
will be open to parents, students and the public. Speakers and
guests from Richmond School District, Vancouver Coastal Health,
RCMP, Richmond Addiction Services, Richmond Fire Rescue and BC
Ambulance Services will be in attendance. KPU Parent Evening –
November 17 Kwantlen Polytechnic University is hosting a parent
evening for parents of grades 10-12 students. For registration and

efforts of the 2017 McRoberts Dry After Grad Committee.

Photo Appointment Now! Grad photos will take place January 9 - 14,
2017 on site at the school with Artona Studios in their mobile
studio. Grads must book an appointment online for a photo sitting
(https://artona.com/schools/MCRO). All grads will need to book an
appointment to be photographed for the grad composite and yearbook
even if they will not be purchasing grad photos. If you have
