Team 406 headed for the BIG ONE Voted Best Demolition
Derby in the World in 2014, WillyLauckner o Nashua is headedto the Blizzard Bash NationalChampionships in opeka, Kansas. He hit the road at 4:00 thismorning, a 17-hour drive in perectweather. Willy will be representingMontana, along with Ryan Ericksono Havre and Eric adej o FortBenton.
Now in its sixth year, this event
has grown to the largest indoordemolition derby in the country.Te Blizzard Bash eatures thebest drivers and car builders in thecountry, drawing drivers and ansrom all over the US to compete tobe recognized as the best o thebest. A our-day demolition derbywith multiple classes involving
over 300 competing cars, Willy is
competing in the Old Iron Modifiedclass with his 1971 Buick Electra 225which weighs in at over 6800 pounds(2200 pounds just in the motor andtranny). Unlike Glasgows derbythe Blizzard Bash is held indoorssurrounded by a 4-eet tall, 3-eetthick concrete berm backfilled withdirt.
Willy Lauckners car was loaded on the trailer last night and they hit the road in this mornings pitch-black dark.

Family bed linens and recently used clothes, hats andtowels should be washed in very hot water.
Personal articles such as combs, brushes and hair clipshould also be washed in hot water i they are in contacwith a person with head lice.
Head lice are tiny, wingless insects that live close tothe human scalp. Tey eed on human blood. Te eggsalso called nits, are tiny, tear-drop shaped eggs that attachto the hair shaf. Tey are ofen ound around the nape othe neck or the ears. Nits may appear yellowish or whiteand can look similar to dandruff. But, unlike dandruffthey can be difficult to remove. Nymphs, or baby lice, aresmaller and grow to adult size in one to two weeks. Adullice are the size o a sesame seed and tan to grayish-white As you and your amily deal with this uncomortablbut common issue, keep in mind that head lice inestationare not related to cleanliness. In act, head lice ofen inespeople with good hygiene and grooming habits. Inestationcan occur at home, school or in the community. Head liceare mostly spread by direct head-to-head contactorexample, during play at home or school, slumber partiessports activities or camp.
