Socktober: Congratulations to 1st, 3rd, & 4th grade for collecting the most pairs of socks for the Socktober event. These grade levels will earn a Sock Hop in the near future. Over 500 pairs of socks were collected.
Food Drive & Backpack/Sweatshirt Drive (November): The PTO & Student Council are planning two fundraising events next week. There will be tables and/or a box in the lobby to collect items. Please refer to the attached flyers for more information.
Hot Lunch: Hot lunch ordering is open for the 2nd Trimester. Parents have until November 9, 2018, to place an order. No late orders accepted. Mac & Cheese has been added as a hot lunch option on Friday. Order here: https://form.jotform.com/82635451903962
Picture Retakes: Picture Retake Day is scheduled for Tuesday November 6, 2018, from 8:45 am - 9:45 am. If you would like your child to participate in picture retakes, please return your picture packets. If your child was absent for picture day, he or she can have their picture taken on picture retake day (picture order forms are located in the office). Afternoon Preschool and Kindergarten can come into school during this time for retakes.
Spirit Day: Be BOLD and wear BLUE & GOLD tomorrow for Spirit Day. The classroom in each wing with the most school spirit will receive the Erickson Eagle for the month. One lucky classroom with 80% participation or more will receive a donut/ice cream party from the PTO.
End of Grading Period: Friday, November 9, 2018, is the end of the first grading period. Report Cards & Fall MAP reports will come home with students on Friday, November 16, 2018. Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Monday, November 19th & Tuesday, November 20th (No school for students during Parent-Teacher Conferences).
Wall of Honor: Please help Erickson honor all Veterans by completing the My Hero page and returning to school next week. We will display pictures of our veterans throughout the building.
Veterans Day Assembly: Erickson will have an all-school Veterans Day Assembly on Friday, November 9th. We would like to invite all family members who have served in the Armed Forces to attend the assembly at 2:30 pm.

The sign up window will open on Friday, September 7, 2018, for scheduling your Parent/Teacher Conference
The hours for the conferences will be 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm

FAMILY PUMPKIN NIGHT THANK YOU: Thank you to all those who participated in the Family Pumpkin Night and purchased from Doctor Dogs! TURKEY TROT: 1 Mile fun run/walk after school on 11/9. All are welcome to participate. $5 per registration will be donated to Wounded Warrior Project: https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/ See attached flyer for registration information.
BACKPACK AND SWEATSHIRT DRIVE: The week of November 5-12, the PTO is supporting a backpack and sweatshirt drive for reservation youth. Please look for donation box to donate new or gently used items size 6 through high school.
BOX TOPS: The next contest has begun! Keep clipping & saving Box Tops to send into your child’s homeroom.

Dear Parents,
The Erickson PTO Thanksgiving Feast is scheduled for Monday, November 12th. Theinvolvement of the students, teachers, administrators, local businesses and parents all play animportant role in making this event a success.
We are asking for your support to keep our Thanksgiving Feast a success. Please let us know ifyou would be willing to make a donation for this festivity to help cover the cost of food for yourchild/children by filling out the form below and returning it to school.
