MARLINS FOUNDATION MARLINS FOUNDATION HONORED AT MIRACLE LEAGUE HONORED AT MIRACLE LEAGUE

Pitcher Anibal Sanchez, Billy The Marlin and FMCF Executive Director Nancy Olson recently attended the Miracle League - West Pembroke Pines Optimist to share the excitement at the Miracle League World Series. Children with special needs participated in a lively game thanks to the help of the Flanagan High and Nova Southeastern University Baseball Teams. Billy The Marlin caught several honorary first pitches including one from Anibal Sanchez. Nancy Olson received a plaque in recognition of a grant awarded by the Foundation to the League earlier this year. Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital supplied the refreshments and every child in the League received a trophy. It was a great night for the children and their families thanks to the League partners!
