UNO partners with GE Capital to increase software engineering graduates. Through the Software Engineering Apprenticeship Program (SWEAP), students work at GE Capital in business intelligence, user experience, user interface, software engineering, and security tracks.

Southeastern partners with Performance Contractors to increase graduates in Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (OSHE). Performance Contractors provides departmental funding and internships.

Nicholls partners with Chevron to increase graduates in petroleum engineering. Chevron participates in curriculum development, classroom renovations, and a mentorship program for students.

UL Lafayette partners with CGI to increase graduates in computer information sciences. More than half of the 50 new hires for CGI are from UL Lafayette, which has the largest computer science program in the state.

McNeese partners with Sasol North America to increase engineering graduates. Sasol funds an endowment, is a member of the Lake Area Industries/McNeese Engineering Partnership, and is an Institute for Industry-Education Client (IIEC). Since 2010, IIEC provided 3,821 hours of professional development to 2,450 local industry personnel.

Northwestern partners with Roy O Martin Products to increase engineering technology graduates for the wood industry. The company provides internships, student field experiences, and curriculum development.

LA Tech partners with CSC to increase computer information science graduates for its new facility in Bossier City. CSC brought its international corporate team to campus for a week to development curriculum and strategies to fill 800 new positions in the region.

Southeastern partners with Laitram to grow graduates in computer science, engineering technology, and industrial technology. In addition to internships, Laitram funded Southeastern’s Engineering Technology Senior Design Program in 2013-14 & 2014-15.
