(D) GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. The Age limit and qualifications/experience etc. for all the posts shall be determined as othe last date of receipt of application forms.

2. Any application without required certificates/testimonials and without SC/ST/OBC/PwDcertificate issued by the competent authority is liable to be rejected.

3. Reservation for PwD (PDA) Category exists as per Govt. of India norms. Positions from thcategory will be filled up depending on the availability of suitable candidate. Candidatemay indicate this on their application forms and bring necessary certificates from competenauthority as applicable to Central Government Service norms, at the time of interview. Thfinal selection will be made on the basis of the recommendations of a Medical Board/Officeto be appointed for examining the physical disability.

4. Candidates employed in Govt. service should send their applications through propechannel. In case, the original application if routed through proper channel which is likely tbe delayed, a photocopy of the application should be sent in advance to reach before thprescribed last date. All such candidates are required to produce No Objection Certificatat the time of interview.

5. The Industry/Research experience should be in Government or Public Enterprise oNational Laboratory. However, experience in Private Industry will be considered provided is incorporated in the Indian Companies Act of 1956.

6. Number and nature of posts shown above may change and vary at the time o

selection/recruitment. Further, the Institute reserves the right not to fill any post(s).

7. All Degree Certificates should be from recognized Universities / Institutes. Further, attacconversion criteria of CGPA to percentage (%) from the University/Institution/Board, failinwhich the Institute will apply its own conversion criteria. Candidates pursuing Ph.D. shaenclose a reference letter from their supervisor indicating status of research work.

8. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of submitted information, othedocuments and photograph. Furnishing of any false information and/or suppressionconcealment of facts shall lead to rejection/cancellation of selection/recruitment.

9. Mere fulfillment of the required qualifications and experience etc., does not entitle candidate to be called for interview/selection. Short listing criteria for calling for interviewmay be higher than those advertised.

10. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience, higher than those prescribein this advertisement, and as per merit decided by scrutiny committee. Criteria for shortlisting may vary from department to department.

11. Candidates will have to appear for the interview at their own cost if called before Selection Committee on the date and place which will be separately notified to thcandidates. SC/ST candidates will be paid TA as per Govt. of India norms for attending thinterview. TA will be admissible subject to maximum up to AC II Class by the shortest routfrom the address mentioned in the interview letter or the place of journey to the Institut

whichever is less, on submission of tickets of both ways journey.

12. Candidates may be required to make a brief technical presentation one day before thinterview.

13. Bring all relevant certificates and testimonials at the time of interview (Original and one seattested copy).

14. Selected candidates will have to produce a medical fitness certificate from a GovernmenHospital prior to joining. They should be prepared to join duty within the specified time limiSelected candidates will be on probation initially for one year which may be extended o

unsatisfactory performance.

15. Besides the basic pay and Grade Pay in the applicable scale of pay of the post, admissiblallowances like DA, HRA etc. in accordance with Central Government/Institute Rules iforce from time to time are payable. The employees of the Institute will be entitled tmedical benefit for self and family. New Pension Scheme of Govt. of India is applicable ofresh recruiters as per Institute Rules. Accommodation in campus, if available, will bprovided on payment of usual rent (house rent allowances if accommodation is noprovided). Leave Travel Concession for self and family is also applicable as per CentraGovernment Rules.

16. The Institute reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning anreason.

2. Further, applicants are required to mention the details of date and time (IST) of remittancewire transfer in the column of prescribed application/covering letter for consideration of theapplication for faculty posts.

3. Applicants who are unable to attend the interview due to being abroad, may be considerein absentia. A specific request giving sufficient justification must be made in advance. Suc
