EMPANELMENT NOTICE

1.1 Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) is one of India’s leading natural gas distribution company

Established in 1995, MGL is a joint venture between GAIL (India) Ltd and BGAPH (a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell Plc). MGL has to its credit, the distinction of pioneering the natural gas distribution network in Mumbai and its neighboring areas. MGL’s vision envisages providing safe, efficient and reliable energy and contributing significantly for pollution free environment. MGL today is an ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified organization.

1.2 Mahanagar gas Ltd. had purchased a piece of land with admeasuring 3721 sqm of area from MIDC, Plot No P-1., Phase “A” Block, TTC industrial Area, and Mahape. Out of the total area 2521 sqmt have been planned for office building with FSI 1.5.

1.3 This offer is for Architectural & Design Services for MGL’s Proposed Office.

Architect & design consultant who is having relevant experience and who wish to empanel with MGL can download the Empanelment form from web site.

Experience Criteria required for Empanelment

The bidders shall satisfy the following minimum eligibility criteria: -

I. The bidder should also have a full-fledged office and should have adequate number of qualified architects with valid licenses from Indian Council of Architecture, engineers and other personnel on the payroll / establishment of the company.

II. Must be registered with the Council of Architecture of India. (As per Architect Act Govt. of India.)

III. The bidder should have License Structural design engineer, issued by the Municipal Corporations under the government of Maharashtra.

IV. The bidder should have in-house expertise in various disciplines such as architecture, civil and structural design, electrical & mechanical and HVAC design, Lift, fire alarm and fighting services etc. and should be familiar with the provisions of the relevant BIS Specifications and Codes, the National Building Code and local municipal Bye-laws applicable.

V. The bidder should have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the field of planning, designing and periodic supervising for construction of multi-storeyed (G+5 and above) commercial buildings with iconic view as on 31.08.2017.

VI. The bidder should submit the details of the firm / client for whom the work is executed along with the value of the contract with duration of completion during the past seven years.

VII. If the bidder does not have in-house expertise in any of the relevant areas Except Architectural services, it should have a tie-up with associate consultants having required expertise in the areas and minimum experience of 5 years. The details of such tie-ups with details of the associate consultants shall be furnished. (relevant document for association should be submitted during participation)

VIII. The bidder should have, during last 7 years ending on 31.08.2017, planned & designed as principal Architect/ Consultant, offering all services as in (IV) above, any of the following:

(a) At least ONE multi storey commercial/ office building of at least 50000 sq. ft. built-up area.

(b) At least TWO multi storey commercial/ office buildings of at least 40000 sq. ft. built-up area.

Brief Scope of Work

SCOPE OF WORK FOR ARCHITECT & DESIGN SERVICES FOR MGL’S OFFICE BUILDING The brief scope of work is given below for the purpose of understanding. The detailed scope of work shall be provided at the time of Tender.

GENERAL:

The consultant shall broadly render to MGL, design consultancy services, but not limited to the following:

1. Architectural Services 2. Civil, Structural (RCC) Building design services 3. Electrical design services both internal and external, compound lighting,

electrical substation, DG set. 4. Fire Detection and Protection systems 5. Security systems (CCTV, Public Addressing system and Access control). 6. Rodent control System. 7. HVAC design works 8. Solar Power system. 9. LAN and Telecommunication system 10. Interior, Furniture, graphic signage’s Design. 11. Lift, Parking System, Cladding & Façade design 12. Plumbing, Sewerage, Strom water drainage, rain water harvesting 13. Land development works like internal and external roads entrance culverts,

approach road, compound wall, Sliding gate and landscape design like garden, tree plantation.
