NOTHING IS TOO BIG FOR GOD
Show the children a blank piece of paper. Say: Friends, I’m going to draw a picture of a really big problem, and we’ll see if it’s too big for God. Draw something from the “Not Too Big for God” List below, that you erase each time as you ask them a question and they respond. • You feel sad. Draw a sad face. • You get a wound. Draw a stick figure with a sticky bandage. • You get sick. Draw a stick figure sideways like it’s laying down. • You’re hungry. Draw a stick figure with wavy lines coming out of its tummy. Ask: Is this problem too big for God to fix? (Allow the children to respond.) Say: You’re right, friends! It’s not too big for God to fix because … (Help children chant/shout out with you, “Nothing is too hard for God!”) Erase your drawing repeat for all the 4 drawings as time allows. Say Together: Nothing is too hard for God! QUESTIONS:
1. Is there anything that’s too hard for God to take care of? (No) 2. Who’s the only one big, strong, and powerful enough to take care of every
problem? (God) Now let them sit down and watch the Bible Story with you. Then the memory verse and Blinky (Life application) and then sing songs together. End with a prayer.
