TWO LENTEN BOOK STUDIES

Join Rev. Miley Palmer for his Lenten book study on The Sunflower: On the Possibilities and Limits of Forgiveness by Simon Wiesenthal. The study is on Tuesday evenings from 7-8 p.m. beginning March 11 and ending April 8.

Beginning on March 12 and continuing until April 9 on Wednesday afternoons from

4-5 p.m., you may join Rev. Jim Montgomery in the Lenten book study of Forgiveness: A Lenten Study by Marjorie J. Thompson. Join our classes and discussions about ‘Forgiveness’ and don’t ‘Forget’ to mark your calendars now. Call or stop by the church office to sign up! 9:00 Present Word – Unit III, LIVE JUSTLY IN THE REIGN OF GOD, focuses on discussion of “Control Your Speech”. Scripture reading is James 3:1-12. Ray Landon leads the class in the pastor’s office. 9:00 Everyday Issues – “A Time to Remember” DVD series will finish with actual newsreel footage of events in the 1960s. 9:00 Youth Class – Junior- and Senior-high class is led by Chris Lawton. 9:00 and 10:30 Children’s Classes – “Jesus Teaches the Beatitudes” Sunday’s Nursery Schedule – February 23

The Kemmerer Village Auxiliary’s 100th Anniversary cookbooks have arrived. Many friends, family members, and Presbyterian congregations submitted over 500 recipes, including many recipes for large groups. Copies
