INSTALLATION MANUAL

2.0.1 IPHONE / IPAD

Connect to a Wi-Fi or 3G network with the Apple device before you perform these steps.

1. Open the browser on your device, and go to to open the Lotus Notes Traveler user home page.

2. Select Configure your Apple iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad. 3. Verify the logon name and mail address. 4. Select Generate. 5. Select Install. 6. When prompted about the authenticity of the profile, select Install Now to continue

to install the profile. 7. If you have a security password for your device and are prompted for the password,

enter it. 8. When prompted for your Exchange account password, enter your LotusLive

password and select Next. 9. Select Done.

Figure 4.If you are using Apples device, the above page will appear and you will be asked

to fill in the Logon Name and Mail Address. Then Click the Generate button.

(Installation steps are mostly similar across Apples devices and systems)

Removing Lotus Traveler from IOS Device.Removing A Lotus Notes Traveler Account From Your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch

1.Click the SETTINGS icon.2.Click the GENERAL icon.3.Scroll down to the PROFILE setting and select IBM LOTUS NOTES TRAVELER.4.Click on the REMOVE button.5.At the warning prompt, press the REMOVE button. Enter your password if you have one on your device.

2.0.2 ANDROID

a. Turn on your mobile device. b. Launch the device browser. c. Go to the Lotus Notes Traveler user home page at

d. Press Select an IBM Lotus Mobile Installer, then choose Android. Transfer the file to your mobile device and open the file.

Note:- In case file unable to download from mobile9.airindia.in than you have to download traveler setup from google play store.

e. When the installation completes, the Lotus Mobile Installer starts.

Install the Lotus Notes Traveler client using Lotus Mobile Installer.

a. Start the Lotus Mobile Installer application by selecting Open after the installation completes.

b. Select Agree to accept the End User License Agreement (EULA). c. The Welcome screen displays. Select Next.

d. Enter the server address

Enter the user ID and password used to connect to the Lotus Notes Traveler server and select Next.

e. After the the installation completes, select Open to start the configuration wizard. f. LMI connects and begins scanning for any new updates or applications to install.

When the Lotus Notes Traveler application has been found and is ready for installation, select Yes to begin the download and install the client.

g. When the installation completes, the Lotus Notes Traveler configuration wizard starts.

h. Select Next to begin registering the Lotus Notes Traveler client.

i. Select the applications you want to sync, and whether you would like to store the data using internal device storage or the SD card.

If you plan on choosing a small set of data to sync, select internal phone storage. Note: You must uninstall and reinstall in order to change your choice of storage. When you choose the SD card option, you will not be able to access your data or sync when the SD card is mounted as storage to your computer through USB. Also, the performance may be significantly slower when using an SD card for storage. Note: There is a known issue with some versions of Android 2.2, in which Lotus Notes Traveler data stored on the SD card is lost when the application is upgraded. Some devices already have this issue fixed, and most should eventually receive the fix as part of an update from the device carrier or manufacturer.

j. Select OK.

Removing a Lotus Notes Traveler Account from Android deviceYou should uninstall Lotus Notes Traveler by launching the Lotus mobile installer application, then selecting the LOTUS NOTES TRAVELER application and choosing UNINSTALL. If you choose to uninstall manually and your device is running Android 2.2 or above, you must follow the below steps.

1.Disable the device administrator by selecting MENU, SETTINGS, LOCATION & SECURITY, and SELECT DEVICE ADMINISTRATORS. Disable the Lotus Notes Traveler device administrator.

2.To uninstall Lotus Notes Traveler, select MENU, SETTINGS, APPLICATIONS, and MANAGE APPLICATIONS and uninstall the application from there.

3.You can uninstall Lotus Mobile Installer using the normal method for uninstalling applications on your Android device

2.0.3 NOKIA

Download the Lotus Mobile Installer.

a. Turn on your mobile device. b. Launch the browser on your device. c. Go to the Lotus Notes Traveler user home page at

.

d. Select Download Lotus Mobile Installer. e. Transfer the file to your mobile device and open the file. f. When the installation is complete, the Lotus Mobile Installer starts.

Install the Lotus Notes Traveler client using Lotus Mobile Installer.

a. Start the Lotus Mobile Installer application (it runs automatically if you just installed it).

b. Select OK to accept the End User License Agreement (EULA). c. The Welcome screen displays. Select Next. d. Enter the server address used for connecting to your Lotus Notes Traveler server. If

you use a custom port number for the connection, then enter the server name using a format like the following example:

If your server uses the standard ports 443 for SSL or 80 for HTTP, then the additional port is not needed. Also, you do not need to specify that this is an SSL connection - the connection tries SSL first, and if it fails, an HTTP connection.

e. Enter the user ID and password used to connect to the Lotus Notes Traveler server and select Next.

f. LMI connects and scans for any new updates or applications to install. When the Lotus Notes Traveler application has been found and is ready for installation, select Yes to begin the download and install the client.

g. When the installation is complete, the Lotus Notes Traveler configuration wizard starts.

h. Select Next. i. Select the applications that you want to sync and select Next. j. Select OK.

2.0.4 WINDOWS MOBILE Download the Lotus Mobile Installer. To download the Lotus Notes Traveler client, you must

first have the Lotus Mobile Installer application installed on your device. Some devices may

come with the LMI pre-loaded. If you already have the LMI, skip to step 2 to begin installing

the Lotus Notes Traveler client. If you do not have the LMI installed on your device, you can

obtain it from the Lotus Notes Traveler user home page using these steps:

a. Turn on your mobile device. b. Launch the device browser. c. Go to the Lotus Notes Traveler user home page at :

d. Select Download Lotus Mobile Installer. Transfer the file to your mobile device and open the file.

e. When the download completes, the Lotus Mobile Installer starts.

* Installation steps on mobile device are almost the same. However, the download, running or

installation processes are OSor Device dependent.

5 For other Operating Systems, just select any OS based on your mobile platform and a file will be

automatically downloaded.

6 Select any OS based on your mobile platform and a file will be automatically downloaded.

7 Save the file, and then it will ask for installation. Accept any terms and conditions.

8 When the Installation is done, it will ask for a Lotus Application download. Download and Install

that application as usual and click the next button.

9 When the device is asking for server data, use this information:

Server name:

Username : (use your webmail username)

Password : (use your webmail password)

* For Windows Mobile OSthe device will ask for User ID. Use the Internet mail address

Uninstalling the clientInstructions for uninstalling IBM Lotus Notes Traveler client from the mobile device.

1.Select Menu > Applications.2.Select IBM Lotus Notes Traveler.3.Select Options > Remove.4.Select Yes to remove application from phone.

Notes Traveler Configuration for Nokia & Windows Latest Mobile:-

* Open your cell phone go to Setting.

* Select email+accounts Tab

* Click on add an account

* Selcet advanced setup

* Choose Exchange ActiveSync

* Type your webmail user name (Email Address) than Password

* Enter your details in the fileds Email address:- user@airindia.in

Password:- webmail password user name:- email address Domain:- leave it blank

* Server:- mobile9.airindia.in/traveler

* Customize your setting as per you

* Setup Finished

* A mail icon wiil be create at your desktop

* Now you can access your airinida mail on your mobile.

Removing a Notes Traveler Account1.Select SETTINGS, then EMAIL+ACCOUNTS.2.Long press on the account you wish to remove, then select DELETE.3.The account should now be removed from your device.
