Notes on Peter Ragnar’s The Unveiled Mystery of Self- Mastery

This world matters, and you forge your own destiny (not chance, karma, bad luck, etc.)o You cannot trust those who do not love this life and seek mastery.

The Matrix of Creationo Thoughts mold the face. Your face is the sum of all the seeds of thought you produce.o Unclean Habits come from unclean thoughts.o You are the Lord of your universe! You are the causative factor!

The Lion’s Secreto Go towards your life’s path and the force of life will strengthen you.o Nature intentionally sorts the men and women of purpose from those who are aimless.o Your drive is your talent!o Add strength to strength, skill to skill, and you will become master of destiny and not a

servant to circumstance.o Thoughts of courage, ability, independence, and self-reliance crystallize into positive

actions. Actions repeated become habits.o You must master your thoughts.

A myth of onenesso We all share a common source, but we are dissimilar in physical manifestation.o Only the most able wins the prize.o You are Lord, Master, and Creator of your reality.o Self-ownership/Sovereignty is the result of cultivating seeds of might, perseverance, and

success. Chance or Choice?

o The Law of Cause and Effect – what you get is what you deserveo Time does not exist only occurrences do.o We are not beings subject to the whims of chance, instead we are all reflections of our

choices of thought.o You can and will choose your occurrences either with conscious control or

unconsciously.o The Law of Causation – your thoughts create a causation for your future.o Be mindful of your power of choice.o Choose mastery over servitude!

Developing an Iron Willo “I CAN, I WILL, I AM!”o In humans there are two types of stillness:

Those who are dead. Those who are so vibrantly alive that they appear still.

o Iron Will = the clarity of purpose + reason + repeated concentrated thoughto There is no free will except in the eyes of the delusional, only an iron will.o All suffering without purpose is merely striving after the wind.

Page 2: Notes on Peter Ragnar's Unveiled Myster of Self Mastery

o Nothing in the universe comes without a price. You MUST ACT!o The center of the iron will, must be calm. The mind must be dictating and directing the

iron will towards action.o A strong mind + strong will + strong purpose = Successo To thing own self be true!o Train your tongue and you train your will.

Train your tongue to only reveal what is real and avoid pollution from other s and the feats of others.

Chip away what is useless and embrace what is useful. Never be intimidated again

o There is no spirit/savior that is coming to rescue you from your own mind.o Do NOT be dependent.o Be your own sovereign. Rule yourself!

Physical Body Mind – must have a strong purpose Enjoy the rigors of discomfort to strengthen the mind and body. Be vigorous enough for the struggle. Your highest value must be life and the struggle to master it!

o Intimidation is only the desire for something you don’t yet deserve. The vigorous are never intimidated. Be Bold

Shame and guilt run hand in hand. Lose these and you will become bold and will not be intimidated ever!

The secret to mind powero A strong mind selects only the strongest thoughts to further fuel itselfo Have a clear purpose coupled with intention and courageousnesso The steady stream of energy is nerve force in action and motion.o Mind power is the exertion of intention among the sea of consciousness.o Exercise 1 to develop mind power:

Inhale with your belly expanding. Pause to feel the electricity accumulate at a spot 2 inches below the navel between the back and the belly (central balance point or Dan Tien)

Exhale and close the belly in and pull up with the belly. Feel the electricity below the navel.

Count the number 1 Repeat this exercise without any random thoughts. Start over if a random

thought arises and try to reach 100. This exercise is not meditation but a prelude and will silence your inner critic

and mind chatter which will help develop clarity.o Exercise 2 to develop mind power:

Assign a sound to each number 1 is “T” or “D” sound as in “Tie”

Page 3: Notes on Peter Ragnar's Unveiled Myster of Self Mastery

2 is “N” as in “Nee” 3 is “M” as in “Moe” 4 is “R” as in “Rye” 5 is “L” as in “Lie” 6 is “sh” as in “Shoe” 7 is “k” as in “Cow” 8 is “v” as in “Ivy” 9 is “b” as in “Bee” 10 is “z as in “Zoo”

Then repeat exercise one but use these sounds to count to 100, never repeating a sound. Ex: 22 would be “Ni-Nee”

Meditation – What it is and isn’to Eliminating the modifications of the mindo Gateway to higher forms of consciousness and pure consciousness (the power to master

destiny)o Mental Modifications

Clear Cognition – Logical thinking Can provide a useful approach to discerning mental modifications Consciousness + vibration must be united Diverts the mind from union with the infinite Rest the mind and the source for consciousness arises

False Perception Distortions which are mental perceptions of the viewers

Fantasy Mental drunkenness which makes mental progression impossible Delusions must be cast away

Memory Sow a memory and reap the consequences All corruptive memories must be set aside or de-emotionalized.

Sleep Unconsciousness which hides consciousness Practice catching yourself in a dream Spending a few minutes aware during sleep results in enlightenment

o Meditation – helps you more fully experience this life and develops mastery or effortless excellence ; also a remedy to thought addiction

o Unwarranted thoughts are actually not thinking at all. Instead you are the one being thought about.

Contradictions and how they Sabotage Successo You ARE qualified to conquer even deatho You must trust your mind and who you’re programming yourself to be.

Page 4: Notes on Peter Ragnar's Unveiled Myster of Self Mastery

o Consciousness is the greatest value and is a choice; preserving your life should be an ultimate goal.

When you already believe that everything you want can be achieved in the next life then the incentive for success is sabotaged.

Lack of action is the worst action You will be in an adversarial position if you hide in the “beyond” (afterlife) Make your own reality instead of living in self-doubt When goals are relinquished life is extinguished. Never repudiate the value of your body. You cannot act if you do not think. You cannot think if you distrust the process. Happiness is an effect and a result of being appropriate to life when

consciousness expands and the present is appreciated Never believe fate has robbed you of choice. Individual vs the Collective – you must choose to be the Individual!

The Conquest of Fearo The fear of your talents and gifts can be corrosive to the self-esteemo Fear must be confrontedo 3 Types of fear

Dread of Old Age, Loneliness, being a victim, sickness, disability, war, natural diseases, etc.

Fear of Rejection, loss of love, or fouling of your reputation, helplessness, or feeling vulnerable.

Fear of being inappropriate to life, lack of competence.o Your true beliefs about yourself emerge in times of trouble.o Maintaining competence and self-worth in tough times is the conquest of fear.o Fear is (False Education Appearing Real)o Fear results in self-fulfilling prophecieso Self-doubt is not being able to trust your own mind and conclusionso Trusting your own mind results in feelings of self-worth and competenceo Efficacious people dissolve fear.o Feelings are the effects of past conclusions which may or may not have been accurate

conclusions.o You must come to grip with who and what you are to remove fear.

You are worthy and capable of survival You are the beneficiary of a life well lived You have all the tools to build the life the architect of your mind decides upon Empower your mind, for your mind power conquers fear

Winning over worryo Worry is a latent form of fear that must be identified in order to be dispelled.o Worry is an emotionalized thought of injury or loss.o Nothing can come to a person that was not first conceived as a thought impulse.

Page 5: Notes on Peter Ragnar's Unveiled Myster of Self Mastery

Worry is a creative visualization in its negative formo An unsettled mind is an indecisive mindo Worriers are fault finders turned against themselveso Extraditing yourself from worry. Ask yourself the following questions.

What are you worried about? Don’t settle for what you imagine it to be Make it factual without emotionalizing

Is your worry the worst possible outcome? If not what is? (this helps identify reality)

Can I accept this outcome? (the worst possible outcome) How can I improve the situation?

Decide and reason it outo Say to yourself “it is as it is”. Self-acceptance allows for change to be invokedo After you have exhausted yourself mentally go soak in a hot tub and sit. Give space. The

answers will come to you. Worry is a sustained form of fear that is caused by not acting.

o A decision to do something is a great solution.o Mental Check up:

Have I been acting on impulse, not thinking through my decisions? Has my mind been burdened with fantasies? Do I have wishes and whims that take the place of clear cut goals? Is my picture of the future hazy and uncertain? Am I torn apart in 2 or more opposing directions? Do I entertain harmful desires? Am I feeling a need of more fun in my life instead of fulfillment? In what area(s) of my life do I feel out of control? Do I rely on others to make my decisions or give me permission to act? Do I feel capable of running my life? Do I trust my own mind?

o Answering these questions will help you isolate the solutions to your particular worry.o Stem Sentences

If I could do anything in the world, and I know I could not fail, I would ____ (list 2 or 3 choices and then finalize it to 1 that you absolutely BELIEVE)

If I were unencumbered by ______ I would ______ (list 10 choices)o When your goals are clear cut and you make decisions worry begins to fade.

Making Healthy Decisionso Freezing or lunging forward without making a decision is seeking an escape from using

your mind because the walls of your comfort zone confines and paralyzes decision making

o Using feelings for a guide is bad since feelings can change at any moment and feelings are the results of past conclusions.

Page 6: Notes on Peter Ragnar's Unveiled Myster of Self Mastery

o “Nothing fails like success!” End results must be self-enhancing since you are the proper beneficiary of your

correct decisions.o Intuition is the lightning bolt of reasono If 2 choices are equal in value and you flip a coin for the decision…if heads comes up and

you strongly feel the answer should have been tails then your subconscious believes tails most aligns with your highest value.

o Call people by their names It is a form of complimenting them

people feel they are not worthy of your time The eyes are the only visible part of the brain so be sincere Make a conscious note of the other person’s eye color while talking to them. Ask thoughtful questions and listen intently is listening with your eyes. Hearing is a function of the ears, while listening is a function of the heart.

o A sensational handshake No dead fishes(weak self-image) or overpowering grips(large ego) It must be warm, heart-filled, and firm but not too strong or too weak. Look the person straight in the eyes while shaking their hands.

o 2 second smile Smile first and the person will almost always smile back

o The unspoken compliment Compliment the person mentally while talking/smiling at them If the compliment is heartfelt, they will pick it up on a vibrational level (vibe)

dare to be yourself a little moreo Laugh a little more

Humor is only for humans not animals Have a sense of humor Be able to laugh at yourself and not take yourself so seriously

Steps to harmonious relationshipso Appreciate another’s position

Passing of time has nothing to do with a person’s personal evolution or growtho Don’t be a reformer

spend time alone that time talking trash. Arrest the source of anger

o Anger is a symptom not a causeo The real ingredient of anger lies in the evaluation of a conclusion

Page 8: Notes on Peter Ragnar's Unveiled Myster of Self Mastery

o Feeling powerless, impotent, confused, or oppressed generates more anger because you fail to trust your own mind

o When you trust your own mind you’re able to draw rational conclusions not fantasy based ones.

Gossip – allows you to harbor an unconscious guilt which spawns the feeling that others are out to punish us.

o Anger poisons loveo Realize what things are in your circle of control. You are not powerlesso When a solution seems grim and a way out seems impossible2 destructive things can

occur Self blame, self anger and internalized anger turned inwards depression

apathy paralysis personal demise Self blame, self anger, and internalize anger turned outwardsviolent lashing

out with accusations of blame in a futile attempt to regain a sense of control with guilt and manipulation

o Anger is caused by a subconscious feeling of being unworthy or not fit for lifeo Anger mentally removes us from consciousnesso Anger can break or crack a valuable antique like love and respect. This can be fixed but

never restored to the original state.o Anger can be transformed to determination, persistence, and tenacity if the cause is

arrested when directed to clear and definable goals Eliminate a poor self-concept that harbors victim consciousness by overcoming

it with implicit trust in your abilities The drive for self-preservation must be so strong that you arrest the source and

transform the force. A life free of guilt and blame and knowing what is in your control leads to

success and can eliminate anger Life by design

o Live your life by your own design.o The happiness of others must not be your chief aim in life. Happiness is an effect of self-

fulfillment. It’s an impossibility to create happiness for others. You don’t get involved in living someone else’s life for them. Don’t give up your freedom for slavery. Make life your highest value which
