    1. The 6Moods of Koine Greek: So far, we have covered 1 fullMoodof the Greek language: The

Indicative Mood. Within thatMood, we saw 3 Voices, each with 6 Tenses. Before proceeding to look

at the other 5Moods (= 6 total), known together as the "Non-Indicative Moods", a nice visualization ofwhere we are going, I think, will prove helpful. One point needs to be made though: While each of the

"Non-Indicative Moods" has 3 Voices, just like theIndicative and while they share the same Tenses,

none of them contain theImperfector the Pluperfect. Heres a list, accompanied by a nice visual that I

created, before moving on in Koine, it may be helpful to commit this vizualization to memory as it willhelp you understand just where you are going in terms of the learning process:

    * Indicative: 6 Tenses (Present, Future, Imperfect, Aorist, Perfect, Pluperfect)* Subjunctive: 3 Tenses (Present, Perfect, Aorist)

    * Imperative: 3 Tenses (Present, Perfect, Aorist)

    * Optative: 4 Tenses (Present, Future, Perfect, Aorist)* Infinitive: 4 Tenses (Present, Future, Perfect, Aorist)

    * Participle: 4 Tenses (Present, Future, Perfect, Aorist)
