This is another special edition of our monthly ‘Notes on an Obsession’ column, one to celebrate Valentine’s Day in style and curate a few marvellous gift ideas for her and him, which this time are mixed.

I have kept the same intent as when writ-ing the ‘Notes on an Obsession: Holiday Season Wish List’ at the end of last year; that is, unveiling beautiful one-of-a-kind or limited edition designs; I have once again widened my selection to include ob-jets d’art, accessories and lifestyle goods, this time with Valentine’s Day in mind. I have tried to stay away from a too literal approach and rather select a catalogue of desirable items for which the recipi-ents will hopefully be forever grateful.
