We believe that outdoor recess is an important part of our
students’ days. We will have outdoor recess on most days,
however there may be days when the students go out for
an abbreviated time. If the weather is deemed too cold,
students will have an indoor recess. Please make sure
your children are dressed appropriately for these cold
days, including hats, boots, snow pants, warm jackets
and gloves or mittens. It is helpful to label all coats,
gloves, hats, scarves, etc., as these items frequently get
lost. Also, please check out the Lost and Found for
missing items.

While it may be hard to believe, spring IS just
around the corner, and with spring comes
MCAS testing.
Testing will begin Monday, April 2nd
. We will
be testing each morning on the testing days. It
is important for all students to be in
attendance and ON TIME.
As always, thank you for your involvement and
support in your child’s education and growth.
CLUBS
Notices went home in backpacks today. There
was an overwhelming response resulting in
some students not getting into specific
clubs. There will be another round of clubs in
the spring and students who did not get into a
club will have first priority.
Included in this newsletter is a list of of
donations that would be greatly appreciated by
the volunteers running the clubs.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE
AND UNDERSTANDING!!

the Rennie Center for Education Research & Policy about exSEL: Excellence
through Social-Emotional Learning, a network bringing together school districts across
Massachusetts to design and implement policies and practices that promote social-
emotional learning (SEL).
The project is led by the exSEL Coalition, whose members include the Massachusetts
Association of School Committees, Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents,
