READ FOR 20 Remember that all students should be reading for at least 20 minutes everyday during the break. PUBLIX MATH NIGHT- TONIGHT Come join us tonight Dec 8th,2016 from 5:30-7:00pm for our annual and exciting Lake Forest Family Math Night . Students will participate in math activities as they pretend to shop in the aisle of our local Publix store at The Prado. All students who participate in math night will receive a goodie bag, a piece of cake, and juice. Don’t miss out on this annual Lake Forest tradition! We will see you at Publix ! CALLING ALL PARENTS The PTA is asking for your help to provide a luncheon for teachers and staff this holiday season on Monday, Dec 19th. If you are able to assist, please complete the flyer in the Thurs- day folder and/or contact one of our parent liaison Ingrid Montenegro. IS YOUR CHILD TOO SICK FOR SCHOOL? Sometimes it is difficult to make a decision about whether or not your child is sick enough to stay home. NOCHE DE MATEMATICAS EN PUBLIX ESTA NOCHE

Ven y únete a nosotros esta noche jueves 8 de diciembre

de 5:30-7:00 pm para nuestra anual, familiar y emocionan-

te de Noche de Matemáticas en el Publix del Prado. Los

estudiantes participarán en actividades de matemáticas co-

mo por ejemplo, pretender hacer compras en los pasillos del super-

mercado. Todos los estudiantes que participen en la noche de matemá-

ticas recibirán una bolsa con un regalito, un pedazo de torta y jugo. No

se pierda nuestra tradición anual de la Escuela Lake Forest! Nos vemos

en Publix!

NO SABE SI SU HIJO ESTA MUY ENFERMO PARA LA ESCUELA?

A veces es difícil tomar una decisión a cerca de si su hijo esta muy enfermo

para ir a la escuela . Como regla general, un niño debe quedarse en casa si tiene:

Si su niño presenta alguno de esos síntomas, llame a su pediatra para saber si necesita

llevarlo al consultorio. Recuerde que su hijo debe pasar 24 horas sin fiebre para poder

regresar a la escuela. También asegúrese de que sus hijos se laven las manos frecuen-

temente; la salud y bienestar de todos los estudiantes es muy importante para noso-

tros. Gracias por su apoyo y colaboración en este aspecto.
