Note on Alaska Private Investigator License Alaska is one of five (5) states in the U.S. that do not require – and do not provide – any state-issued licenses for private investigators and private investigation firms. Although there is no licensing requirement for the State of Alaska, certain cities do have licensing requirements for private investigators. Beacon maintains licenses in Anchorage, where the municipal government require registration for private investigation firms operating within their city limits. Beacon Investigative Solutions is also registered with the Alaska Secretary of State and duly authorized to do business, in general, throughout the State of Alaska. Enclosed are copies of our city licenses for Anchorage; our business registration with the Alaska Secretary of State; and the investigative license for our firm in Ohio, where the company was founded and maintains its corporate offices.
