has an average selling price of $1,411 psf with

the smallest one-bedder of 463 sf valued at

$670,000. More than half its units are priced

under $1.2 million. The price as well as the location is

a lure for buyers.

and Huttons outperformed ERA in the units sold dur-

ing the launch. Given the project’s attractive price

and location, we expect Thomson Impressions to

continue witnessing strong interest from prospective

International Feature - Explore the Magnificence of Indo-China

Indochina is at the continental crossroads of India and China and mainly consists of

the countries, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar and Peninsula Malaysia.

Development is rife in this region with Vietnam and Cambodia taking pole positions in

terms of Economic Progression. The populations of these countries are growing with

a large workforce to support further economic progress. Growth has been strong

with Cambodia and Vietnam displaying 7.0% and 6.0% y-o-y respectively for 2014.

In this edition, we will introduce 3 countries, namely Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia

and also highlight to you various attractive investment opportunities in each of these

countries.

Vietnam - Country Update

From 1 July 2015, foreigners

can now purchase Vietnamese

properties after a new law was passed in the country’s National Assembly.

Foreigner purchases are capped at a maximum of 30 percent of apartments

within a block and 250 houses in a given ward.

As such, the demand pool for the Vietnamese property market has now

broadened beyond the local context. Nonetheless local sentiments should still

remain strong supported by rising local incomes. Vietnam boasts one of Asia's

fastest rates of middle class expansion, with the economy growing 6.28

percent in the first half of this year. Property transactions in Vietnam

have almost doubled from the previous year as of Aug 2015, reflecting

strong demand from both locals and

foreigners.

Compared to countries in the region, Vietnam has one of the largest population size, standing at

almost 90 million residents. However, as of 2014, its property market is valued at USD21 billion

while neighbours Thailand and Singapore stand at USD89 billion and USD241 billion respectively.

There is therefore much room for the Vietnamese property market to progress, indicating the

possibility of substantial capital gains.

Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) - Vista Verde (CapitaLand)

Huttons is proud to bring you our first Vietnam initiative – Vista Verde. Vista Verde is a mixed development by CapitaLand. Nestled

in District 2 of Ho Chi Minh City, Vista Verde boasts 4 Towers of residential Units and 5

Cambodia (Phnom Penh) - The Peak (Oxley Holdings)

Huttons’ first foray into the Cambodian market was epitomised by the successful launch

of The Bridge, with a total of over 330 units sold by Huttons to-date. Following this

successful launch, we are now embarking on our new project, The Peak. The Peak is a

joint development by Oxley Holdings and Worldbridge Land of Cambodia. This

Thailand’s property market is poised for an upward movement in prices as the economy recovers amidst the political instability of

prior years. With stronger exports, growing investment activities and increased government spending, Thailand’s economy is

forecasted to observe an average growth of 3.6% a year from 2015 – 2019. This was reflected in the Bangkok’s property market where

a 35% increase in prices was observed in Q1 2015. Demand for housing remained strong, especially so for inner city

developments where projects were sold out within a matter of days. These included, The Monument Sanam Pao by Sansiri,

Ashton Asoke and Ideo Q Siam - Ratchathewi by Ananda Developments.

Thailand (Bangkok) - Ashton Silom (Ananda Development)

Ashton Silom is part of the Ashton line-up of developments by Ananda Developments
