Not everyone is cashing in on fight night LAS VEGAS (FOX5) - Vegas Weddings, which is located downtown, will be busy Friday because couples have fallen in love with the date: 5-1-15. Saturday, when all attention is on Mayweather-Pacquiao, something strange will take place. "It's very odd that all of a sudden at 9 o'clock when the fight starts, bam, it just cuts off, the bookings cut off," said Ann Parsons, Vegas Weddings marketing director. "Come on down if you want to get married at 9 p.m. to midnight because we actually have space available," she laughed. Normally, when 300,000 people come to town, the chapel is overflowing with "I do's."

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Vegas Weddings, which is located downtown, will be busy Friday because couples have fallen in lovewith the date: 5-1-15. Saturday, when all attention is on Mayweather-Pacquiao, something strangewill take place.

"It's very odd that all of a sudden at 9 o'clock when the fight starts, bam, it just cuts off, the bookingscut off," said Ann Parsons, Vegas Weddings marketing director.

"Come on down if you want to get married at 9 p.m. to midnight because we actually have spaceavailable," she laughed.

Normally, when 300,000 people come to town, the chapel is overflowing with "I do's."

The biggest concern on Saturday's is the possibility of the chapel's fleet of limos getting stuck infight-night traffic.

"We've been gearing up, making sure that we have all of our drivers scheduled properly, becausehaving that limo service is really important to our brides and grooms," Parsons said.

"What am I gonna do? I'm actually gonna be working Saturday night here," said George Crocco, whowill be on the Strip trying to sell tours to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam.

"I'll probably be just standing around," Crocco said. "The clientele - it looks like it won't be doingmany tours."

Other events not getting a boost from Pacquiao-Mayweather: the Supercross races that will be

running at Sam Boyd Stadium and KÀ at the MGM Grand will go dark that night.

The theater will be used for closed-circuit viewing of the fight.
