Norwegian Language Classes Winter/Spring 2020 The winter/spring session of the Norwegian language class oered by Norumbega Lodge #3-506, Sons of Norway, will meet on Wednesday evenings, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m., beginning on February 19 and running through April 29th. (No class on April 8th). This class is an advanced level class, a continuation of the class from the fall. The class meets at the Scandinavian Library in the Scandinavian Cultural and Living Center, 206 Waltham Street, West Newton, MA. The class fee is $40 for the ten-week session. Checks should be made payable to “Norumbega Lodge #3-506”. The textbook and workbook are entitled STEIN PÅ STEIN. If you’re not sure you are at an advanced level, you can get started by using either the Duo Lingo app or the Pimsleur audio course oered by Simon & Schuster, which is available on amazon.com and join the class at a later session. A beginning 4 level Norwegian class will be oered at the Harrop Center (parish house behind the Unitarian Church), 102 Green Street, Fairhaven, MA. The class will meet on Monday evenings, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., beginning on February 24th and running through April 27th. The class fee is $50 for the ten-week session. Checks should be made payable to “UUSF”. The textbook and workbook are entitled PÅ VEI.
