This tour takes you on a journey through some of the most beautiful scenery in Fjord Norway, and includes breathtaking experiences on the Bergen Railway, the Flåm Railway, the Aurlandsfjord, the Nærøyfjord and the steep Stalheimskleiva road. The round trip is available all year round, and if you travel in the low season, the feeling of being close to nature is even more intense. Nature is never more beautiful than when the autumn colours ”set nature ablaze”, when the snow covers the landscape or the buds of spring bear witness to Nature’s slow awakening.

The Bergen RailwayYou can start the round trip in Bergen or Oslo or from one of the stops en route, e.g. Voss or Flåm. The Bergen Railway has been voted one of the world’s most beautiful train journeys. The train ride over Northern Europe’s largest mountain plateau is spectacular and varied. At Finse (altitude 1222 metres), we pass the highest point on the Bergen Railway, with the blue ice of the Hardangerjøkul glacier glittering in the southwest.

The Flåm RailwayThe train journey on the Flåm Railway between Myrdal and Flåm is one of the highlights of the round trip, regardless of whether you take it up or down the wild Flåm valley. The 20 km-long train ride between the mountain station of Myrdal (altitude 866 metres) and Flåm (altitude 2 metres) takes roughly one hour. On the way, you will see some of the most magnifi cent mountain scenery Norway has to offer, with a shifting panorama of towering mountains and impressive waterfalls.

El Ferrocarril de FlåmEl viaje en tren por el Ferrocarril de Flåm, entre Myrdal y Flåm, es uno de los puntos culminantes del circuito, independientemente de si lo hace subiendo o bajando el agreste valle de Flåm. Los 20 km de distancia entre la estación de montaña de Myrdal (866 metros de altitud) y Flåm (a 2 metros sobre el nivel del mar) dura aproximadamente una hora. Sognefjord - Norway’s deepest and longest fjordOn the fjord cruise between Flåm and Gudvangen, we sail past the beautiful village of Undredal with Scandinavia’s smallest stave church, and the mountain farm Stegen, which is situated 300 incredibly steep metres above sea level, before the boat enters the Nærøyfjord. This arm of the Sognefjord is one of the narrowest and perhaps the most dramatic fjord in Europe. The whole fjord landscape is a conservation area and is included on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List. In summer, before the boat comes in to dock at Gudvangen, you will often be able to see goats grazing along the shores of the fjord, or seals sunbathing on rocks.

Sognefjord - Noruega y el fi ordo más largo y profundoEn el crucero por el fi ordo entre Flåm y Gudvangen, navegamos por el bello pueblo de Undredal, con la iglesia medieval de madera más pequeña de Escandinavia, y la granja de montaña Stegen, situada a 300 metros increíblemente pendientes sobre el nivel del mar, antes de que el barco entre en el fi ordo Nærøyfjord. Este brazo del fi ordo Sognefjord es uno de los más estrechos y quizás el más espectacular fi ordo de Europa. The Stalheimskleiva roadA bus waits in Gudvangen, and the journey continues through the mountainous Nærøydalen valley before arriving at the spectacular Stalheimskleiva* road, which twists and turns up through 13 hairpin bends offering views of the Sivlefossen and the Stalheimsfossen waterfalls. There is a short stop at the top to admire the wild panoramic beauty.

La carretera StalheimskleivaUn autobús espera en Gudvangen, y el viaje sigue a través del valle montañoso Nærøydalen antes de su llegada a la espectacular carretera Stalheimskleiva*, gira y revira por 13 curvas cerradas con vistas a las cascadas Sivlefossen y Stalheimsfossen. スタールヘイムスクレイヴァ道　The Stalheimskleiva road グドヴァンゲンで待機のバスに乗り、山間のナーロイダーレン渓谷を通って圧巻のスタールヘイムスクレイヴァ道に到着。シーヴフォッセンやスタールヘイムスフォッセンの滝を脇目に13カ所のヘアピンカーブを登りつめると、頂上のスタールヘイムホテルで小休止して眺望を臨むことができます。※この道路は5月から9月まで開通。10月～4月の冬場は新道を通ってのヴォス発着になります。


*Stalheimskleiva is open from May to September. In the winter months, from October to April, the bus takes the new road to/from Voss.

Stop en routeThe organized round trip can be done in a day, but we recommend you to stop off and stay a night or two en route. Please fi nd more information about accommodation with Fjord Pass®, timetables and activities en route at www.fjordtours.com. If you start the trip in Oslo, you will have to make one overnight stay or take the night train in order to complete the whole trip. The tour is available as a day trip from Oslo in the summer-season. Optional direction of travel.
