match staged by a member county of the British Darts Organisation Ltd. shall enter the playing venue at the

respective person's own risk. The BDO or a member county's organisation shall not be held responsible for

the loss of that person's valuables or belongings. This declaration does not absolve the BDO from claims

against the Public Liability/Personal Insurance Scheme.

Admission fees / programme receipts are not refundable at BDO functions.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission, if necessary without assigning a reason for so doing.

Any person found conuming drink which has not been purchased on the premises shall be liable to be ejected

Chairman's Comments

I would like to start by welcoming what is a star studded line-up to our venue, and it is with great pleasure that I greet the London squad which contains a few personal friends of mine.

Who would have thought a few months ago that this would be a top of the table clash - the results of the first three games have been tremendous and we have not finished yet. Northumberland are in second place only 3 points behind this weekend's opponents, the highest position we have ever been in the Premier Division. All credit goes to you, the players, and some great away support. Another super win at Merseyside where Julie Thompson excelled with a 23.86 average to earn herself an A team place for this game, and congratulations must go to Davy Richardson-Page, Joe Broughton, Carole Wright and young Joanne Spark who have all been nominated for the England squad this year.

This is going to be one of our hardest tasks yet -1 know London will endeavour to make it so. However, in Phil's column Cockney Pride they expressed some doubt - and I quote "a record that will be severely tested in our next away match to Northumberland" - so let's do the business.

I hope the London lads and lasses will accept our geordie hospitality and look forward to a thrilling game of darts. We look forward also to seeing some of them coming back to the venue on Saturday night where we will be having loads of fun at our annual Christmas party with games, disco and a Karaoke night, starting at 8 p.m.
