It was wonderful to be together as a district family for the 33rd annualdistrict assembly of the Northern Michigan District. Cherry Grove Churchhosted the assembly and conventions again this year and they excelled onceagain in service. We were enriched under the apostolic leadership of ourpresiding general superintendent, Dr. Eugénio Duarte. Thank you to all whoserved and participated. It was, indeed, a holy convocation!
On Friday evening we held two conventions, NYI and SDMI. Thank youRev. Gomez and Rev. Farmer and all the convention team members forleading us in two great conventions. On Saturday the youth did serviceprojects in the Cadillac area. Thank you, Church of Discovery, for your helpin facilitating these service projects.
In the coming year may we prevail in the grace of God to press towardthe mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus!

New Church Dynamics
What Church Planting Training is Available? New Church Dynamics (NCD) is a three-day event providing practical tools to
implement systems for growing a dynamic, missional church.
Why this Training and Not Something Else?
It’s Simple: Principles to apply to a variety of church plant models in many contexts
It’s Reproducible: Geared toward creating churches that will multiply
It’s Re-Teachable: Contains sessions that certify attendees to reteach the material
It’s Low-Cost: This event, along with three lunches, and course materials are
provided free of charge. Travel, lodging, and any remaining expenses would be
on your own.
Where will it Be Held and How Much will it Cost?
Cherry Grove Church of the Nazarene - 8450 S. 29 Road — Cadillac, MI 49601 —
This training will be provided at no cost to you. We will provide three lunches and
course materials. Lodging is recommended at the following Cadillac, MI hotels: Days
Inn— 6001 East M-115 at (231) 775-4414, Holiday Inn Express— 7642 S. US 131 at
(231) 779-4656, or Hampton Inn— 1650 South Mitchell Street at (231) 779-2900. Breakfast
is included at each of these hotels. Travel & other expenses are on your own.

LodgingIf you have a camper, there are many campsites available to you in
various sizes. Campsites are $20.00 per night..
There are 12 cabins available that have from 10 to 12 bunks in them at $28.00 per night (behind the tabernacle.)
We also have eight Motel rooms with 9 to 11 bunks at $26.00 per night. These units are near the entrance next to the restrooms.
There are four rooms in the Morrison building at $28.00 per night.
There are a limited number of private cabins available and the cost is set by the Manton Christian Camp.
