Presnell Foundation Makes $5000 Donation to
NE’s Media Center Mr. Embree, Media Specialist, has been noti-fied that the H. Clay and Wavie M. Presnell Foundation has approved a grant in the amount of $5000 for books for our school's media center. The Presnell Foundation was founded in 2004 by Wavie Presnell in honor of her late husband Clay Presnell and is a private Randolph County foundation dedicated to as-sisting educational, and religious/cultural chari-ties. Past recipients of grant funds include: Seagrove Public Library, Randolph Pregnancy Care Clinic, Faith and Vision, Christians United Inc. and Habitat for Humanity. To date, the Presnell Foundation has distributed $350,000 to deserving organizations across central North Carolina. The NE school community is grateful to the Presnell Foundation for their generous contribution that will support the pur-chase of high interest books for our Media Center. Thanks also goes to Media Specialist Embree for securing the grant for Northeast-ern’s Media Center.

12 Golden Rules For a Great 2016
1. If you open it, close it. 2. If you turn it on, turn it off. 3. If you unlock it, lock it up. 4. If you break it, admit it. 5. If you can't fix it, call in someone
who can. 6. If you borrow it, return it. 7. If you value it, take care of it. 8. If you make a mess, clean it up. 9. If you move it, put it back. 10. If it belongs to someone else, get
permission to use it. 11. If you don't know how to operate it,
leave it alone. 12. If it's none of your business, don't
ask questions. Author Unknown
