Everything & More! That’s what

Main Street in Seneca, Kansas.

Seneca Variety is an iconic store

known throughout Northeast

Kansas and Southwest Nebraska.

The best thing about Seneca Variety

is the selection of merchandise.

There is truly something for

everyone. Customers often say…

“I’ve looked all over for this or that,

including the ‘big box stores’, and I

found it here at Seneca Variety”.

It’s back to school time. Hurry in for

school supplies that can’t be beat.

They carry a full selection of

supplies for students from

preschool to college.

Christmas is coming! Find the

largest selection of toys in the area

for all ages including puzzles,

games, models and Melissa & Doug

toys. Many great gift ideas for all

occasions!

Christmas… the list goes on and on!

Are you a quilter or crafter? The

fabric department is incredible and

extensive. Purchase broad cloth,

fleece, flannel, Jack Dempsey

patterns, embroidery floss, cross

stitch, notions and so much more.

Businesses love the selection of

office supplies.

Don’t forget the old fashioned bulk

candy and fresh popcorn. Treat

yourself with a bag of peanut

clusters or orange slices.

Dona and Jack Willmeth bought the

store in October 2011 when the

previous owners decided it was time

for a change. So, what made the

Willmeth family decide to buy a

retail store? They love Seneca

Variety and didn’t want to see the

Seneca Variety feels like coming home again

they say. Dona, being a business owner and

director of Seneca Downtown Impact, had many

tools and resources at her disposal for help

starting the business. “Working with Dona is

always a pleasure”, says Teresa McAnerney of

Northeast Kansas Enterprise Facilitation. “She’s

focused and a hard worker” added McAnerney.

Another perk to buying this business is Dona and

Jack wanted to teach their sons, Kent and

Dawson, about entrepreneurship and work ethic

by working at the store. Maybe someday one or

both boys will carry on the family tradition. That

family tradition can

be traced back to

Dona’s great

grandfather, Archie

Scott. Scott

founded a small

town called Dailey

in northeastern

Colorado. At that

time he opened the

first general store in

town called “The

Dailey Cash Store”.

The Willmeth family will soon complete their first

year in business. All is running smoothly at the

“Everything & More” store. Dona, Jack, Kent and

Dawson thank you & invite you to come to

Seneca Variety soon and find Everything & More!
