TRIP: AMERICAN TREASURE MUSEUM
Whether you are a costume aficionado, fashionista, historian or avid The Crown fan, you will truly enjoy this one-of-a-kind exhibition and immerse yourself in a world apart. Take a day to experience the lush gardens on the tram tour, take in the costumes of The Crown, a tour of the magnificent house and museum with time at the gift shop. Inspired by the fictional program and by real life at Winterthur, have the chance to step into, and experience, the world of Netflix’s “ The Crown” and the contrasting world of Winterthur founder Henry Francis du Pont and his contemporaries in the first half of the 20th century.
Located in nearby Oaks, Pa., the American Treasure Tour will take you on a trip to days of bygone memories, housed in an indoor 100,000 sq. ft. building. Hop on an indoor tram ride through this private collection of treasured Americana from antiques to kitsch to pop culture to a collection of classic preserved automobiles. PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS
BABIES GYM & MUSIC (ages 3–12 months): There is so much learning going on at this age! Your baby’s first class at Romp n’ Roll provides opportunities for you and your baby to engage in appropriate activi-ties that help them grow and learn physically and socially, creating a bonding experience between baby and parent. The class is designed with elements such as movement activities to work on strengthening your baby’s back and neck to move them toward mobility, sign language to foster communication and language skills, music time to work on fine and gross motor skills and bubbles to work on hand-eye coor-dination. This class is chock full of learning... for everyone!
TUMBLE TUNES (ages 18 months–3 years): Do your kids love music? Our Mixed Ages Tumble Tunes class combines music and gym perfectly. If you’re bringing more than 1 sibling, don’t worry – our instructors will lend a hand with younger children during independent play while older children navigate an excit-ing obstacle course. During our circle time you will experience a truly one of a kind music program that combines all genres, from folk to classical music, from an urban beat to lullabies.
CRAYONS TO CANVAS (ages 3–6): Each week, children explore aspects of different artists and create their own version of a project based on that artist’s style. When you ask your child what they did in art class, they will be able to tell you the “medium” they used and describe concepts like space, texture, perspective, and abstraction — all while tapping into their creativity and making a colorful mess without the worry! And, they’ll bring home a masterpiece to showcase on the front of your fridge! Our Crayons to Canvas Class is 60 minutes long and takes place in the Art Room.
ARGH, MATEY! PIRATE ADVENTURE (ages 3–6): Shiver me timbers! Romp n’ Roll’s Pirates class is per-fect for your young matey! Our pirates will enjoy tales of adventures at sea, create Pirate crafts, and seek out lost treasure in the Gym! Working on fine motor skills is disguised as creating a treasure map, and creativity is encouraged as your little pirate explores their treasure chests. Our Pirates class is 60 minutes long and takes place in the Art Room. For the last 15 minutes of each class your little Pirate will climb aboard our pirate ship in the gym where they will exercise their bodies and their minds. “X” marks the spot so don’t miss booking a spot in this class for your landlubber!

SESSION 1: Encourage your preschooler’s enthusiasm for art. This fall, Young Rembrandts introduces drawing lessons that will excite your budding artist. A vibrant drawing of a rainbow will introduce our students to the wonderful world of color. An illustration of an airplane will take them to new heights. These are just a few of the many great lessons our students will learn.
SESSION 2: Learning to draw a scarecrow face will capture the spirit of the fall season. We’ll learn about Native American culture as we illustrate a teepee. Basic shapes and designs will be our focus as we take a look at gift-wrapped presents. And with the holiday season upon us, we’ll create a colorful drawing of a menorah. And we’ll sweeten the winter season with a rendering of candy canes.

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL PARKPLAYGROUND IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT
HOW TO DONATE
DID YOU KNOW? EXPLORING IS KEY FOR CHILDREN’S DEVELOPMENTPlaygrounds play an important role in the development of children. All children benefit from
exploring the four defined areas of developmental skills when at play. The four areas of
develpmental skills are sensory, motor, cognitive, and social/emotional. Multisensory experiences
can be good because using more than one sense at a time helps to build the brain more quickly.
However, some kids with disabilities may need to break that information into smaller parts. Some may require
additional sensory input, others do better with less. Some may prefer to experiene this input more frequently, others
less frequently. That is why it is so important for playgrounds – especiall inclusive playgrounds – to provide a variety
of develpmental optons for kids to choose from. The pieces of equipment selected for the Playground Improvement
Project were chosen with this in mind.
