SNOW – SLEET - ICE IS THE CENTER OPEN??

The Center’s policy is that if the Council Rock schools are closed due to inclement weather, the Center will be closed for activities both day & night. Even if the roads seem to be clear & passable later in the day, the Center will remain closed. We never know the condition of our sidewalks & parking lot. You can find out easily if the schools are closed by tuning into KYW news & radio, or turn on your TV. Most of the channels have alphabetical or county listings. The school closing number is 756. Please do not call the Center to see if it is open. If you are scheduled to take Bucks County Transport on one of these days, you will not be getting picked up. The important thing to remember is to plan ahead. Listen to the weather forecast in advance. Have food, water, batteries, a flashlight, radio, candles & blankets on hand. Oh – and do not forget a good book!!
