Investing in Wales
A case for inclusion• North Wales Newspapers is a family-owned newspaper group, proud to
be based in Wales and proud to be independent.• The group employs 289 full-time equivalent employees in seven offices
in most major towns in mid and north Wales.• The group has a tradition of highlighting Welsh issues across its 15
editions published in Wales.• NWN covers the counties of Wrexham, Flintshire, Conwy, Denbighshire,
Powys and Gwynedd to a greater extent than any other print media.• The company prints and publishes 360,657 newspapers each week that
are bought by, or delivered to households in Mid and North Wales.• Each week an estimated 480,000 adults in Wales read at least one copy
of one of the group’s newspapers, excluding any duplication.• Add to this two monthly publications – North Wales’ only dedicated
lifestyle magazine - North Wales Living - and a monthly free newspaper in Mid Wales, and contact with the group is made by almost a third of the adult (15+) population of Wales each week.
