KNOW THE CODE…
• Always stay in control, and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.
• People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
DON’T DO THIS
KNOW THE CODE…• Whenever starting downhill or merging into
a trail, look uphill and yield to others.
• Always use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
You must not stop where you obstruct a trail, or are not visible
from above.
• STOP IN A SAFE PLACE.
• DON’T BE LIKE BOB…
Prior to using any lift, you must have the knowledge and ability to
load, ride and unload safely. • REMOVE POLE STRAPS.• TURN OFF MUSIC.• PAY ATTENTION.• DON’T BE LIKE BOB…
Observe all posted signs and warnings. Keep off closed trails and
out of closed areas. • IF THE SIGN SAYS “SLOW” …
GO SLOW!
• DON’T BE LIKE BOB…
This is our club’s most important rule.
You MUST ski or ride in groups of at least two people at all times on the mountain.
Each group should have a walkie-talkie (provided by the club) or a cell phone that works to contact chaperones
and/or ski patrol in case of emergency.
OBEY SKI PATROL AT ALL TIMES!
