Who Are We?
The purposes of The Tahoe Regional Arts Foundation are to secure the necessary capital for facilities development and initial operations, provide advice and counsel for the design and construction of the new theatre; manage said theatre upon construction; and provide exceptional visual and theatrical experiences for the residents and visitors of/to the Tahoe Region (California and Nevada). The Foundation will seek to collaborate with regional educational institutions, including K-12 and secondary, to support and enhance visual and performing arts education programs. Additionally the Foundation will act as an information clearinghouse for the numerous arts organizations in the North Tahoe Region.

North Lake Tahoe Tourism and Community Investment Master Plan 2004 - Performing Arts Center
A single, shared location for these events and performances would provide a community and visitor benefit. It would help underscore the cultural and arts attractions of the area which is something that many visitors look for in a resort destination. It would help enrich the lives of community residents. Pg.81
